my comment is that ego desire to be more holy and special may be the result of spiritual attitudes of denial of ego and that ego is to be dissolved to be holy; hence there is a collective imprint to desire improvement, where as the reality is that there is nothing unholy about ego and thus like an abused child there is nurture needed. i know that our definitions of ego are not the same and that without an agreed map of consciousness there can be misunderstanding. i share anyway
