  • I was lucky enough to be hanging around one late Friday night in "The Sound Training Centre" when this was created, I might even have tapped a few keys. Fintan McDonald was the producer. Himself, Alana and the two Brians were also the people behind the Garden of Eden parties, easy the best parties that Ireland ever saw.

  • classic tune !!!

  • . . i remember it well, i drove billy & tara mad ha ha . .

  • one of the most under-rated classics. For its date of release it was years ahead of anything else. Anthem

  • @dubliner29 we had the best clubs ever in our day !! up the dubs ,,liam dollard is class dj !!!!

  • what a fuckin stomper

  • yeh a gr8 sound...just like underworld cowgirl it just gets right into your mallet

  • Come to think of it, Dave McDonnell was involved with this mix too and the engineer Fintan deserves a mention as well (credit where it's due, and all that).

  • Dave McDonnell also did a very nice remix of IBO's Rejuvination in around 1995. I must get around to putting that up here sometime cause I reckon it's better than the original. Shame that the quality of the pressing itself is a bit poor.

  • Dave taught me how to mix way back in Ruffin records.

  • I'm sure I can find a recording of Bring It Home somewhere. Might be on cassette though (how old school is that)?

Just to clarify a couple of things. What Cliffo meant was we co-wrote the original. Also, this is a Liam Dollard remix of a Mad Sound Disease track. Finally, I'm pretty sure the picture is of the original version. Think this remix (also on Inner Conscience) had a green label.

    Cosser

  • I have this on a CD by Irish bands called 'Celebrate the Life'. I got it off Cosser (Mad Sound Disease) a while back.

Hey Cliffo, or anyone got a version of 'Bring it Home' by MSD. That version in the Harp that night still shivers the nerves. Rapid tune!

    AL

  • I was in the band Mad Sound disease and wrote the original version was trying to get in touch with Liam Dollard in doing a new Remix..what do you think? would it go down well?

  • yeah but an old skkol one with a classic sample, please please steer clear of the new electro shite, the lunar mix of this goes down a storm.....

  • ha nice 1 got this from dave

    francois

  • OMG will you put up the b side of that record.....I did the voice samples on it(indian chant)....Jacobs Ladder is the name of the song. The flashbacks are flooding back:D Thanks for that!!!

  • That's a totally different release on the same label mate, that one was by mind over music...

  • Oh yea, ur right. I did it with Dave McDonnell. Do you have it by any chance???

  • Jacobs ladder is a kickig tune, brings back some memories, bought the vinyl.

  • Well Well Well.

You probably were not there (cos I didnt see you) Warren K Dropped J.L. in the Asylum one night and the place went ballistic when your vocal kicked in. They were peeling people off the ceiling after.

  • Hahaha...I still have that effect on people!!

  • In general or when you sing =o)

I vaguely remember meeting you somewhere. Sign of those times!!

  • Great Tune mate, brings back the good old day's
