I w as in Kennedys last week after Primal Scream ,Liam your a folklore ledgend ,the musical engoyment you have brought to this country is fantastic and completely undervalued hats off to you mate for many a lost in music night
I was lucky enough to be hanging around one late Friday night in "The Sound Training Centre" when this was created, I might even have tapped a few keys. Fintan McDonald was the producer. Himself, Alana and the two Brians were also the people behind the Garden of Eden parties, easy the best parties that Ireland ever saw.
a cunt of a tune luv wen the piano kicks in!!have it on vinyl meself, dont make em like this anymore, was sad to hear abbey disk went a few weeks back,i bought this when the were in the little arcade, those where the days!!!
Ahhh the proper abbey discs in the corner of the abbey mall, little jammed corner every Sat morning waiting to have a preveiw of the latest white label n imports lol got some class ones over the years! was sad when it folded! Wonder if the rebirth of Oldskool has inspired Andy n the others to think of reopening......U can't beat vinyl! ......savage tune btw :c))
Come to think of it, Dave McDonnell was involved with this mix too and the engineer Fintan deserves a mention as well (credit where it's due, and all that).
Dave McDonnell also did a very nice remix of IBO's Rejuvination in around 1995. I must get around to putting that up here sometime cause I reckon it's better than the original. Shame that the quality of the pressing itself is a bit poor.
I'm sure I can find a recording of Bring It Home somewhere. Might be on cassette though (how old school is that)?
Just to clarify a couple of things. What Cliffo meant was we co-wrote the original. Also, this is a Liam Dollard remix of a Mad Sound Disease track. Finally, I'm pretty sure the picture is of the original version. Think this remix (also on Inner Conscience) had a green label.
I was in the band Mad Sound disease and wrote the original version was trying to get in touch with Liam Dollard in doing a new Remix..what do you think? would it go down well?
OMG will you put up the b side of that record.....I did the voice samples on it(indian chant)....Jacobs Ladder is the name of the song. The flashbacks are flooding back:D Thanks for that!!!
You probably were not there (cos I didnt see you) Warren K Dropped J.L. in the Asylum one night and the place went ballistic when your vocal kicked in. They were peeling people off the ceiling after.
up the dubs best dj,s& best night clubs, man i miss the 90,s !!!! !!!!!

I have this on a CD by Irish bands called 'Celebrate the Life'. I got it off Cosser (Mad Sound Disease) a while back.
Hey Cliffo, or anyone got a version of 'Bring it Home' by MSD. That version in the Harp that night still shivers the nerves. Rapid tune!
