And i suppose all of you want another painful 4 years of the fraud sitting in our White House. Get up off your asses and work, we are tired of supporting you. Better wake up before it's to late, better yet don't remove your blinders and be like all the other morons that voted for this fraud. If he gets elected again then we know voter fraud occured. When judgement day comes i hope you stay behind and not govern one of the points of lights in the sky, like Jesus did for us. no reply needed.
Rush Limbaugh, 3 failed marriages, dropped out of college, and a substance abuser....Glenn Beck, 1 failed marriage, dropped out of college, and a substance abuser...Now Sarah Palin, in a half backed marriage, barely made it through college, and a dimwit....Leaders of the the Republican party has definitely changed.
Less than 20% of American Voters Identify as Republicans. The number of those 25yrs or younger is to small to accurately tabulate. They are going the way of the Wigs and the Bull Mooose Party.
The GOP has chosen Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh as it's leaders because they know that there is no way to get well-informed voters to vote Republican anymore.
If Sarah Palin is the future of the Republican Party then no wonder it has become the party to laugh at and the reason only 20% of voters call themselves Republican.
I for one am still a Registered Republican but I have not voted for McCain/Palin or G.W. Bush.
G.W. Bush was the end of the Republican party and McCain / Palin were the final nails in the coffin.
It is sad, it is pathetic, it is disgusting that we have the above as leaders or wannabe leaders.
I'm no big fan of either party (especially Republicans), but I see that Republicans are just as prone to being conned by image as Democrats. My observations:
Palin-lacks substance & is not generally appealing. Romney-the one conservative from last year's bunch who seems to represent conservative ideology the most. McCain-moderate who DEFINATELY should have made a better choice. GWB-he's gone...his only positive impact. Get rid of fringe types like Malkin, Beck, & Coulter & gain more appeal
Im not sure Palin is the end all be all of the republican future. Actually as far as experience goes, our current president and Palin probably neither one had enough to be president yet. But you do the best you can and they are both "green" and not very well seasoned. It wil be interesting to see what happens in the next election. Both sides as usual have their agendas and per the american way.. there will be mudslinging from all angles. Reminder: united we stand, divided we fall!
The problem with old people is they think Sarah is like their wives. Old people think you can negotiate with a male but a female will just yell over you. So they fear the unknown. They wonder If a woman could negotiate with another country. The challenge for Sarah is going to be to try to show every one she has a lot of self-control because If she doesn't old people will freak out. I think a good angle may be the motherly angle; looking towards the future for the sake of our children.
Uhh, in case you didn't notice, McCain/Palin won the older vote by a lot, and most of the people at her rallies were old. The fact that she has to do any of that is nonsense. She is underqualified and if the Republicans nominate her, they might as well concede the election in 2012. Romney is the only one who has a chance at beating Obama, bad poll numbers and all.
There's no chance. Guiliani is probably going to run for Governor of New York. I don't know why people like either him or Romney. They are both professional flip floppers.
no rudy and no romney for president. theirs something scarey about romney. it's the same i felt with obama. romney isnt exactly the person he say he is. alot of us want new blood not people that already have been in govt. kick em out and start over fresh ! sarah palin 2012!
Palin can beat the shit out of Obama bin Biden. But she isn't the next great president. Obama has already put our country in debt. He's racist and hates the whites. He worked for a racist church for over 20 years. Sarah doesn't know much to be president, but is much better than Obama. Obama only won because he was black. If people focused on his choices for president and not for his color, then McCain would have won.
Never mind winning over liberal moderates, NO secularist or non-religious American will EVER vote for a ticket which includes Palin, NOT ONE. Even though secularists are far from the majority in the US as they are in Europe, it's still a pretty large percentage of the population that WILL NOT give you their vote under any circumstances, and that's a heck of a big hole to try and crawl out of from the get go. If the GOP runs with Palin again, it just proves they truly are hopelessly myopic.
Demographically, the GOP is in terrible shape, as Rove, in 2004, catered to the true believer/evangelical base, using anti-gay initiatives to drive up their turn out but losing sight of the changing demographics re young voters, latinos and women. Kerry was an terrible choice, able to put an audience of meth addicts to sleep, but in 2008 the Old Strategery failed miserably, allowing for an Obama margin of 10,000,000 votes. And since then they have made no effort to broaden the base. RIP/GOP.
The GOP needs to reach out to Iraq/Afghan war veterans that are moderate Republicans.
On the Dem side, i would like it if they would back Robert Kerrey for VP in 2012. Democrat from a conservative Republican state, former Senator, college president, Vietnam war hero with unquestioned patriotism. He even lost a leg while earning his Congressional Medal of Honor. His legislative forte? Health care.
As ugly as it is, Rush Limbaugh and his ilk represent the essential base of the GOP [ which is why GOP polls are terrified of crossing him]. FOX News promotes a radical right wing agenda [ as 10 seconds of Beck/Hannity well prove]. And they hold onto their power by the kind of gross distortion and invectives moderates will not indulge in. Look at how venemous Coulter, Limbaugh and co were a war hero GOP moderate in McCain. People like yourself need to work from the inside to change this.
The facts are that none of the media people that you mentioned would be working except for the repeal of the Fairness Doctrine. IF they were required to provide time for Op/Ed rebuttals where their listeners would be forced to hear the truth and the lies of Rush exposed for all to see, they would no longer be financially viable.

The GOP may need to move to another country if Obama strips all the wealth of the USA and redistributes it to the Government. I want to be self employed, not work for Obama and company!
Is there any way at all that the GOP can extricate itself from the influence of the fascist NEOCONS? What has happened to the moderate Republican visavis Eisenhower. Where is the party of opposition to the Military Industrialist Conplex and fiscal responsibility? Has the CIA and AIPAC completely controlled the Republican party? These questions deserve an answer.
When GOP pundits criticize Obama for not reaching out more vigorously to the minority party they selectively forget that this party has been purging moderates since the Gingrich Revolution in 1994. The purge has left them with a party in which moderates are as rare as panda bears and allowed blue dog democrats to win in many previously GOP districts. In short, this means Obama can only reach out to ideological crocodiles who have no ntention of working with him whatsoever. There is your answer.
Not only the Gingrich revolution but the election of REAGAN who gave the illusion of moderation with his support of abortion but then slamed the door with increased war spending, tax cuts for the rich and tax increases for the rest of us. The GOP has ONLY been successful when they promote the GREAT LIE since Nixon. Eisenhower was the last moderate Republican president and secretly they despised him. There is no one in the NIXON/Reagan/Cheney/BUSH wing of the GOP to reach. Olympia Snow, maybe.
I was planning on signing up libertarian to give republicans a hint that that's more or less wat people want but if they put Palin on the bill for president i swear i will sign up democrat...
Reminder that the woman who was up for election for vice-president of the entire country resigned because she couldn't handle one single state, much less the easiest and most far-removed one
Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann will take over this country in 2012! Their Christian, WHITe and Capitalista values will make this country the envious of the entire world. Them other countries will love us and Chant USA USA USA at their teabag parties and then we'll all be rich again like we was before that terrorist socialist Obama and Acorn took over and made us all teabag and hope for the day when Sarah & Michelle win and make 2012 the year of the USA! USA! White power! Die Socialists!
Yall better watch who you calling satires. The Palinator & Michelle Bachmanns will be running this hear countray & peopel like you calling good folk satires is gonna pay the pipers. They might take over before 2012 with the help of the Capitalists and destroy them Socallists and you damned Liberals. They'll get thems a army & get right on up there to Washingtons and take over & won't be no kinda Barrakk HUUSANE Obama around to make no kinds of Socialism round about this hear great nation.
The GOP has no credibility on the issue of fiscal responsibility. They want the American people to forget the eight years of the Bush Administration and the RECORD deficit under him. Interestingly enough, the GOP only became "concerned" about deficits on 1/20/09. ~Ban Coulter
I agree & think it's hysterical that RNC Mike Steele plans on hearing the SAME voice of God that Scarah Failin plans on hearing when it comes to running for President or not in 2012.
It's a shame the HARD-CORE Religious Right-Wing don't move to Mexico where they could legally smoke peyote' and hear voices from GOD ANYTIME they wish.
Most GOP believe the "Bush Family" is a symbol of GOD that represents the "Burning-Bush" of modern times. Dumb-shits!
RUSH/PALIN could be the Republican DREAM TEAM in 2012. Nothing would serve this country better. This great nation would have the opportunity to see the most evolved and brightest members of the Grand Old Party.Their unique abilities to express the position of the Right would act as a becon of light to the American people. When the American people realize the light is an oncoming train loaded wiyh ignorance and fear, they will, as in 2008, vote this party of dangerous dinosaurs into oblivion.
Unfortunately the Republican party has no one worthy enough to lead them, so they are trying no good scumbags like Rush Limbaugh, and empty-headed Sarah Palin as somebody who could lead them! They are even willing to have a joker like Jindal to run for the office of president in 2012! Jindal's own children are so ashamed of their surname that they have decided not to use it! Jindal was so ashamed of his name Piyush that he changed it to Bobby that used to be a common nick name in India!
The country LOVES Obama's CABINET picks. Even Fox (aka Faux) News gave him an 80% approval rating compared to W's 19%, because even they realize W's a HUGE Dumb-shit!
Scarah Failin was asked about her selection of a CABINET if she became President, and she stated "She couldn't decide between Maple, Oak or Pine"....an even Dumber-shit!
I'd love to see W & Failin go head to head in an IQ Test. It would prove to be a tie as BOTH have PROVEN to be "Dumb & Dumber" dumb-shits!
I made a RepubliCON error in my post below.....INSTINCT should be EXTINCT! ~Scarah Failin
Have to go now. It's time to sit on the commode and take a Coulter & wipe my Limbaugh. Ciao!
Be sure to go out today and "SHORE UP THE ECONOMY & REIGN IN SPENDING UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF JOB CREATION." LOL! Man, do I miss her dumber-than-diarrhea interviews!
The RepubliCON Party is becoming more instinct by the day. With a new President extending himself to them, they make BIGGER assholes of themselves. What do you think MOST Americans think? The R"s are into losing MORE than the 55 Senate & House Seats lost in 2 years? How do they fix things? Hire a Black American to head the RNC! What HUGE dumb-shits. LOL!
I know you miss me terribly; but it's much MORE fun posting on Bulimic Drag-Queen Ban Coulter & Fat-Ass Drug Addict Flush Dimbaugh YT sites.
Olympia Snow would have been a legitimate pick, but she has more experience and would not have been carried like a child, like Palin would have. Palin would been someone's sock puppet.
Please stop smoking the crack. Palin was a female candidate with no level of experience to cover the VP slot. Was not able to handle one on one questions with a friggin reporter and could not possibly handled negotiations with heads of state of lettece for that matter. She was a gimmick. A female that wasn;'t picked on the "D" side. This is what everyone saw when the lights came on.
And YOURS is a trivialization of matters of life and death over matters of personal pride. "No shortage of kids" ... how about (and soon this WILL be the case) "no shortage of old people" ... should we start killing them too? How about disabled people, how about the mentally ill? How about people groups that are out of favor with those in power? Then you could see real racism. Your focus is on that which is superficial, MO, NOT on that which is of real importance.
I think what StackMo1 is saying is that it's great to be alive, but infants need parents! And children need parents.
Our focus shouldn't be on creating 1.5 million orphans, or whatever the number is. Our focus should be on preventing 1.5 million pregnancies.
If you're trying to prevent children from having sex, abstinence-only education doesn't seem to work. So we have to try some other approach to keeping abortion "safe, legal, and rare" as Bill Clinton puts it.
RELIABLEINSIDER - Here's the only problem with your desire to keep abortion "safe, legal, and RARE" ... 1.5 MILLION ABORTIONS annually COULD HARDLY BE TERMED "RARE" !! A society cannot enourage RESPONSIBILITY by eliminating the CONSEQUENCES for IRRESPONSIBILITY. How many of those aborted babies could be adopted? How many of those would-be parents WOULD DECIDE TO BE PARENTS if abortion weren't an "easy" out? (And it's not easy anyway - many women are tormented by the decision afterwards!)
Wouldn't it make more sense to stop focusing on punishing teenagers for being victims of (statutory) rape and start focusing on preventing those 1.5 million pregnancies in the first place?
Using a helpless infant to punish a child who has been raped seems like exploitation of the infant.
If you allow the girls to become pregnant . . .
Some of those teenagers would become single mothers. Not ideal.
Some of those infants would be adopted. Not ideal.
The fact is abortions are not RARE ... despite your desires. And you talk about "punishing" women/girls who become pregnant unintentionally. Well, what could be a worse punishment than DEATH?? The abortion solution for unintended pregnancies is the ultimate in PUNISHING the VICTIM!
Some statistics:only 19% of abortions are performed on teenagers - almost half of all abortions are on mothers over 25 - clearly women who should be able to use birth control.
One other thing Reliable ... Adoption might not be ideal, but it's preferable to DEATH! I haven't researched the statistics, but there are many childless American couples forced to adopt Chinese, Russian, and Eastern European babies because they CAN"T get a baby here!
Also, fewer than 1% of abortions are done because of rape or incest. Even in these cases, murdering the baby only compounds the crime. The best preacher I ever heard was a child of rape. He thanks his mom daily for his life!
Oh, that's not true. Pregnancy resulting from stranger rape might be uncommon, but statutory rape of, say, a 15-year-old by a 25-year-old leading to teenage single motherhood is quite common.
Death is a terrible thing. Adoption is, indeed, better. But not getting pregnant is better still. Especially if the woman in question is 12.
There are people who fly to China to adopt an -infant-, but there are still MANY, many children in FOSTER care.
No, I am firmly pro-choice. I don't believe in murdering an embryo for any reason. That's why I want abortion to be safe.
And legal.
And rare.
If you are sincere about reducing the number of abortions, and not simply on a crusade to punish women for having sexual intercourse, then the least destructive approach is to prevent the pregnancy from ever happening in the first place.
Geeez ... whether someone gets a holiday in his name or not ... THAT'S what's most important to you??!! I'm a little more concerned about the 1.5 million babies we legally murder each year in this country.
is this guy serious , this bitch is a dumb ass, the only reason she was there is because she knows how to suck dick,,,, HAAAA i bet TOM didnt know that, lololol
Republicans need to go back to fiscal responsibility and not just say it and spend. I can't bare to here another lying pol talk about tax cuts and never veto an earmark. Corruption in politics is the status quo, it's sick. All this bailout nonsense is possibly necessary but so unfortunate. Obama has allot of work ahead of him, I believe he will not be the beloved savior once he starts spending like a maniacal big government most liberal spender that he is.
What are you guys smoking. This woman is as loose as a goose. I cannot wait to prove you wrong. Let her keep talking and you will find that this is as nuts as nuts gets.
Like a two year old who didn't the ice cream they wanted they just bawl, and bawl and bawl.
We're all glad the election is over. The "majority" of Americans exercised a collective sigh of relief that Palin wasn't allowed to pass go. It doesn't matter how many colleges she had to attend before she GRADUATED. She just wasn't right for America, and America collectively sent her that message loud and clear.
Even in a country where most people get their political knowledge from viral emails and TV sound bites, Sarah Palin was found to be lacking. How exactly did the Republican party decide to be the anti-intellectual party? First GW Bush, then Sarah Palin. Good grief.
but I just have to wonder as to whether this was the original plan, all along? Leave the country in disarray, prop up Grampa McCain for a 3rd and final run, select what could be the absolute worst Candidate for a VP; all so the Republican party could have time to re-group.

Let's see ... a person (presumably female) who calls herself "NuckinFutzGirl" thinks someone ELSE is a "sad, pathetic woman" ??? And btw, "NukinFutz" ... what are YOUR accomplishments in this world?? Big wig, are ya?? Maybe a PhD from Stanford or Harvard? A promoter of world peace?? Or perhaps you're helping to solve the crisis in the financial markets?? Or maybe you'll be the next fabulously knowledgeable political candidate to come on the scene?? Somehow I doubt it.

Well NUCKINFUTZ, sugar ... nothing could POSSIBLY BE AS BORING as a foul-mouthed bitter winner!! As for my ID here ... yours makes mine look like that of a Harvard grad. And while it's pretty easy to figure out what YOURS means, mine is apparently an enigma to you, so I'll explain: it is the name of a fluffy (hence the "foofoo" part)orange kitten adopted by my family who came to be known simply as "Kitty." So as you see, no EasyBaked ovens were dropped or harmed in any way by its use! ;-)
foofoo: um...ok, YOU DO KNOW... that no one cares...right?
Because in the end, you are neither esoteric nor an enigma. You're just as shallow as a kddie pool, you want to be seen as cute, and to some that might be the case; but in the end the reality is you're shallow, and you have no depth!
Now I am truly bored with you; so let me enjoy my victory; and I'll leave you to wallow in your loss.

Ms. NUCKINFUTZ ... there's never a NEED to reply! It's just so doggoned entertaining to see what you'll come up with next. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised this time! You managed to get through, what, maybe 5 sentences without one F bomb or other 4-letter word? Good for you! I just love it when our senior citizens are making progress in their ability to communicate! No point, really, in sounding like a 12yr old male when you're a 52yr old grandma, now is there? ;-)
You sound bitter. Are you? You spend time battling a lost cause. You realize the election has been over for days now. You realize the MAJORITY vote is how things are decided. By a majority of the vote it was decided PALIN was not worthy to hold the office she ran for. Since you should be able to get that, why not act like you get it? You voted for a party that loss.
OH shit, oh dear, now what?
You accept that fact. Find a new cause.
Cheer up, in four years process starts all over again.

I'm fine IHA8YOUFOOL! Don't worry about me! I'm not bitter. I do have a "cause" far dearer to my heart than the election of McCain-Palin, and I DO realize the majority voted for the Democratic ticket. That said, my real point here is that many of the criticisms of Sarah Palin are unworthy and untrue, and while I didn't think she was really qualified to be VP, neither did I think she should be attacked with 4-letter words or ones like "moron." Missteps aside, her accomplishments are many.
Lady aren't you just full of yourself. No one is "worried" about you. Just annoyed that you can't seem to move on. Now I'm not even amused or annoyed. Move on lady. Take your sad cause (Sarah Palin) and your bitterness with you; we're all out of tissue here.
BTW foofookitty: I concur and agree wholeheartedly with the "MAJORITY" of American voters: Caribou Barbie Palin was a sad, sorry choice for the RNC ticket. America got it right. If we're lucky her attempts to climb into Senator Stevens seat will as fruitful as her VP run. Sarah; stay in Alaska, eat a mooseburger, shoot a gun, etc... America has had enough of you to last quite awhile.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Geee ... I said I wasn't gonna do this. Sigh. It's an addiction. OK ...YOUFOOL, I just wonder: if "Caribou Barbie" had been a liberal Democrat who wanted no limits on abortions, gay marriage available in all states, tax hikes on anyone making any money anywhere, save the owls, save the seals, get any mention of "God" out of public life, redistribution of YOUR wealth, AND would bring the troops home & become an isolationist - I bet you people would have LOVED her, mooseburgers and all!
Do not send any more replies to my account. I have no further need of contact from/with you. I have heard all from you I care to hear. Your messages will be blocked and any attempts to continue contact will be reported to to YOUTUBE directly. Thank you.
Nationally; politically Palin is finished. She may also be done at the Statelevel as well. As her constituents have been publicly shamed, they may be less likely to re-elect her. The more news that comes out Im convinced she purposely ALLOWED herself to be used and thrown away like a $2 whore. I dont think she really understood
the ramifications of her choice. Shes what we call: Nickel Slick. But her opportunistic ways dont necessarily infer she is as mentally bright as she thinks she is.
if they want her to run 2012, then they DESERVE to lose... !
(they better lose if this country isn't to go down the DRAIN OF NO RETURN!! after 2 terms of bush one term of palin will finish off this country yikes!!)
Sarah Palin is a FUCKING MORON, there is no arguing that point, it is fact.
McCain is a Retarded, senile, old man who chose a "FUCKING MORON", Sarah Palin as his running mate making him a FUCKING MORON, there is no arguing that point, it is fact.
Well, "thekidd9245" ... maybe, unlike YOU, Sarah Palin can SPELL "english" and "usage" ... in any event, when YOU are a college graduate with a degree in communications and journalism, when you've helped run a family business, or served on a city council, or as Mayor of your town, or become Governor of your state ... all the while raising a family of 5 children & creating a stable, loving marriage ... you let me know and we'll criticize Sarah's accent together!
Well foofookitty, actually i do have a Bachelors degree in Business Management and well i do own my own business. I dont have five kids just 1 and im not critizing her parent skills what im saying is that she is not qualified to run this country, im not either and you probably aren't yourself. She doesn't speak proper english which to me is a big problem when you cant speak better english then the other foreign leaders your talking to you can critize my spelling but im not running for office.
I am happy for your business skills, of course, "thekidd.." but I notice you did not mention being elected by your peers to serve your city or state or country in any political office. Palin has. And you did mention that you're not RUNNING for office, so you apparently have no desire to serve, just the disparge those who do and have. Actually, though I AM a Republican because of the conservative values that party supports, I did not think Palin was experienced ENOUGH to be VP.(to be continued)
(However, neither do I think a couple of years in the US Senate qualifies an individual with NO EXECUTIVE experience to be President!) Nevertheless, my main issue with so many of Palin's detractors here is that the attacks are so personally disparaging and filled with foul language (not you, but so many others who seem unable to express themselves without the use of personal insults or the F word). It's sad really.
There's nothing evil about being a Sarah Palin supporter.
What Palin supporters have to realize is that she introduced herself to America as a woman who would do nothing but make verbal attacks on the Democratic Party and attack after attack after attack on Barack Obama, a man she didn't know, who is now our President.
Now that we know her, and the President, we see that all of her insinuations that he cavorts with terrorists all day and perhaps is one himself are absurd.
As a Democrat, I listened to all of her attacks in her very first speech, at the convention, and didn't agree with -any- of them.
The convention was a moment when everyone in America had been brutalized for eight years and everyone wanted to feel better. Democrats wanted the Republican Party to apologize. Republicans wanted the Republican Party to defend.
To defend the torture and the crimes against humanity. To defend the lies about weapons of mass destruction and Saddam's involvement in 9-11.
Because she defended instead of apologizing, Republicans were grateful and Democrats were incredulous.
That's how she became so polarizing.
She IS a perfectly ordinary woman who is interesting and attractive and ordinary Americans feel as though she is them and they are her.
The idea of making an ordinary American Commander-in-Chief (if McCain had died in office) when we were fighting two wars showed contempt for the office of the President.
Democrats believe the President actually has a role to play and offering the ordinary man's perspective when history-altering decisions are being made is not it.
I can change diapers. But I am not qualified to be a mother. And neither I nor she are qualified to be President.
And for her to be calling Obama a terrorist at a moment when America was just about to do something great (throw racism in the dustbin of history) hurt -her- more than she will ever be able to understand.
You're right on the ball and chain that's holding them back, but maybe the problem is really that they don't look far enough into the past.
They like Reagan; I like Ike.
And I'm not kidding. If they'd just stop dressing up the Rockefeller Republicans as RINOs, I'd find the Republican party far more attractive. If they'd only return to that old humble pragmatism--and really govern rather than rot indignant about government--I'd be a Republican.
I keep hearing people say 'Palin 2012', and it kills me. She did several interviews, each without a handler or ability to use canned responses, and she sounded dumber than a box of rocks. The woman refuses to answer direct questions in debate, and gives canned responses. Then, she gets pranked by a disc jockey posing as the President of France, falling for it hook, line and sinker. Sarah was not vetted or prepared, and I could NEVER support someone that stupid. Sorry, but I speak the truth.
Saying Sarah Palin is the future of the Republican party is the same as saying shooting yourself in the foot is a good idea.

People like yourself need to work from the inside to change this.
molloyx 2 years ago 2
The facts are that none of the media people that you mentioned would be working except for the repeal of the Fairness Doctrine. IF they were required to provide time for Op/Ed rebuttals where their listeners would be forced to hear the truth and the lies of Rush exposed for all to see, they would no longer be financially viable.

These questions deserve an answer.
exenrontexas 2 years ago
When GOP pundits criticize Obama for not reaching out more vigorously to the minority party they selectively forget that this party has been purging moderates since the Gingrich Revolution in 1994. The purge has left them with a party in which moderates are as rare as panda bears and allowed blue dog democrats to win in many previously GOP districts. In short, this means Obama can only reach out to ideological crocodiles who have no ntention of working with him whatsoever. There is your answer.
molloyx 2 years ago
Not only the Gingrich revolution but the election of REAGAN who gave the illusion of moderation with his support of abortion but then slamed the door with increased war spending, tax cuts for the rich and tax increases for the rest of us. The GOP has ONLY been successful when they promote the GREAT LIE since Nixon. Eisenhower was the last moderate Republican president and secretly they despised him. There is no one in the NIXON/Reagan/Cheney/BUSH wing of the GOP to reach. Olympia Snow, maybe.

Two words: Wishful Thinking!
mccommas2 3 years ago
And YOURS is a trivialization of matters of life and death over matters of personal pride. "No shortage of kids" ... how about (and soon this WILL be the case) "no shortage of old people" ... should we start killing them too? How about disabled people, how about the mentally ill? How about people groups that are out of favor with those in power? Then you could see real racism. Your focus is on that which is superficial, MO, NOT on that which is of real importance.
FOOFOOKITTY 3 years ago
I think what StackMo1 is saying is that it's great to be alive, but infants need parents! And children need parents.
Our focus shouldn't be on creating 1.5 million orphans, or whatever the number is. Our focus should be on preventing 1.5 million pregnancies.
If you're trying to prevent children from having sex, abstinence-only education doesn't seem to work. So we have to try some other approach to keeping abortion "safe, legal, and rare" as Bill Clinton puts it.
ReliableInsider 3 years ago
FOOFOOKITTY 3 years ago
You want to punish rape victims?
Wouldn't it make more sense to stop focusing on punishing teenagers for being victims of (statutory) rape and start focusing on preventing those 1.5 million pregnancies in the first place?
Using a helpless infant to punish a child who has been raped seems like exploitation of the infant.
If you allow the girls to become pregnant . . .
Some of those teenagers would become single mothers. Not ideal.
Some of those infants would be adopted. Not ideal.
ReliableInsider 3 years ago
Dear Reliable,
The fact is abortions are not RARE ... despite your desires.
FOOFOOKITTY 3 years ago
But most of the infants would just become orphans.
Newt Gingrich had a solution. He said, "Build orphanages."
It makes no sense to force twelve-year-old girls who have been raped to bear children just to send the infant into an orphanage.
We should be focusing our love and attention and resources on all of the orphaned children who already exist today!
ReliableInsider 3 years ago
One other thing Reliable ... Adoption might not be ideal, but it's preferable to DEATH! I haven't researched the statistics, but there are many childless American couples forced to adopt Chinese, Russian, and Eastern European babies because they CAN"T get a baby here!
Also, fewer than 1% of abortions are done because of rape or incest. Even in these cases, murdering the baby only compounds the crime. The best preacher I ever heard was a child of rape. He thanks his mom daily for his life!
FOOFOOKITTY 3 years ago
Oh, that's not true. Pregnancy resulting from stranger rape might be uncommon, but statutory rape of, say, a 15-year-old by a 25-year-old leading to teenage single motherhood is quite common.
Death is a terrible thing. Adoption is, indeed, better. But not getting pregnant is better still. Especially if the woman in question is 12.
There are people who fly to China to adopt an -infant-, but there are still MANY, many children in FOSTER care.
ReliableInsider 3 years ago
Pro-Choice means that no rape victim should ever be forced to abort the baby.
Or to carry the baby to term.
It is time for you to stop using force to force women who have been raped to do things that they don't want to do.
Allow the little girl and her mother and father and their pastor and the doctors to work out what the best solution is to a crisis.
If the solution is emergency contraception (the morning after pill), then so be it.
ReliableInsider 3 years ago
RELIABLEINSIDER - one other thing: we're murdering our children because they're INCONVENIENT! GEEZ ... talk about immoral!
FOOFOOKITTY 3 years ago
No, I am firmly pro-choice. I don't believe in murdering an embryo for any reason. That's why I want abortion to be safe.
And legal.
And rare.
If you are sincere about reducing the number of abortions, and not simply on a crusade to punish women for having sexual intercourse, then the least destructive approach is to prevent the pregnancy from ever happening in the first place.
ReliableInsider 3 years ago
Geeez ... whether someone gets a holiday in his name or not ... THAT'S what's most important to you??!! I'm a little more concerned about the 1.5 million babies we legally murder each year in this country.

I hope palin runs and wins the nomination. That way it will be a slam dunk for Obama to win the presidency for a second term.

I'm no Rhode Scholar but I look like one in a side by side comparison with Sarah Palin.
AtheistRagdoll 3 years ago 2
if she is the future of the republican party..
then we can expect the party to go into a further shit hole.
she is a fucking moron. and i just cant believe people want her to run 2012
bluemangos 3 years ago 9
if they want her to run 2012, then they DESERVE to lose... !
(they better lose if this country isn't to go down the DRAIN OF NO RETURN!! after 2 terms of bush one term of palin will finish off this country yikes!!)
earthypig 3 years ago
Showing Palin to the world was only setting up her role in our future. :)
Clayton0001 3 years ago
Palin didn't need a credit crisis to make herself look undesirable.
TonyKaku 3 years ago 7
T'was only the credit crises that stopped Palin. And only that.
skydogz1 3 years ago
If Obama doesnt make any big mistakes he will win big time 2012.
dampidodamp 3 years ago 3
If Palin is the future, the world is fucked.
SHE IS A FUCKING MORON!
MACKATTACK1970 3 years ago 3
You, dear sir, have a very limited vocabulary!
FOOFOOKITTY 3 years ago
Palin can't even speak proper engligh, her word usuage in a sentence sound jumbled.
thekidd9245 3 years ago
She probably can't spell "engligh" and "usuage" either.
jgrodnik 3 years ago
Well, "thekidd9245" ... maybe, unlike YOU, Sarah Palin can SPELL "english" and "usage" ... in any event, when YOU are a college graduate with a degree in communications and journalism, when you've helped run a family business, or served on a city council, or as Mayor of your town, or become Governor of your state ... all the while raising a family of 5 children & creating a stable, loving marriage ... you let me know and we'll criticize Sarah's accent together!
FOOFOOKITTY 3 years ago
Well foofookitty, actually i do have a Bachelors degree in Business Management and well i do own my own business. I dont have five kids just 1 and im not critizing her parent skills what im saying is that she is not qualified to run this country, im not either and you probably aren't yourself. She doesn't speak proper english which to me is a big problem when you cant speak better english then the other foreign leaders your talking to you can critize my spelling but im not running for office.
thekidd9245 3 years ago
I am happy for your business skills, of course, "thekidd.." but I notice you did not mention being elected by your peers to serve your city or state or country in any political office. Palin has. And you did mention that you're not RUNNING for office, so you apparently have no desire to serve, just the disparge those who do and have. Actually, though I AM a Republican because of the conservative values that party supports, I did not think Palin was experienced ENOUGH to be VP.(to be continued)
FOOFOOKITTY 3 years ago
(However, neither do I think a couple of years in the US Senate qualifies an individual with NO EXECUTIVE experience to be President!) Nevertheless, my main issue with so many of Palin's detractors here is that the attacks are so personally disparaging and filled with foul language (not you, but so many others who seem unable to express themselves without the use of personal insults or the F word). It's sad really.
FOOFOOKITTY 3 years ago
She's a college graduate??
ReliableInsider 2 years ago
Yes, Reliable, she has a degree in Communications/Journalism from the University of Idaho.
FOOFOOKITTY 2 years ago
There's nothing evil about being a Sarah Palin supporter.
What Palin supporters have to realize is that she introduced herself to America as a woman who would do nothing but make verbal attacks on the Democratic Party and attack after attack after attack on Barack Obama, a man she didn't know, who is now our President.
That's where the controversy comes from.
She was a mysterious stranger who attacks.
ReliableInsider 2 years ago
Now that we know her, and the President, we see that all of her insinuations that he cavorts with terrorists all day and perhaps is one himself are absurd.
As a Democrat, I listened to all of her attacks in her very first speech, at the convention, and didn't agree with -any- of them.
ReliableInsider 2 years ago
The convention was a moment when everyone in America had been brutalized for eight years and everyone wanted to feel better. Democrats wanted the Republican Party to apologize. Republicans wanted the Republican Party to defend.
To defend the torture and the crimes against humanity. To defend the lies about weapons of mass destruction and Saddam's involvement in 9-11.
ReliableInsider 2 years ago
Because she defended instead of apologizing, Republicans were grateful and Democrats were incredulous.
That's how she became so polarizing.
She IS a perfectly ordinary woman who is interesting and attractive and ordinary Americans feel as though she is them and they are her.
The idea of making an ordinary American Commander-in-Chief (if McCain had died in office) when we were fighting two wars showed contempt for the office of the President.
ReliableInsider 2 years ago
Democrats believe the President actually has a role to play and offering the ordinary man's perspective when history-altering decisions are being made is not it.
I can change diapers. But I am not qualified to be a mother. And neither I nor she are qualified to be President.
And for her to be calling Obama a terrorist at a moment when America was just about to do something great (throw racism in the dustbin of history) hurt -her- more than she will ever be able to understand.
ReliableInsider 2 years ago
To compare Thatcher to Palin is drawing long bow. Thatcher had a science degree to start with.

Sarah Palin is the future of the republican party?
PLEASE republicans... please run her again, you will make democrats, liberals and smart people all over the world SO happy.
Rahab111222 3 years ago
Palin had too much to conquer this time around. 2012 will be different though.
skydogz1 3 years ago
you mean in 2012 america will be ready for such a narrow minded woman?

If the republicans think Palin is their future that is just a testament to how disconnected they are from the rest of the nation.
DelinquentFaith 3 years ago 5
Drop the anti intellectual, dogmatic religious agenda and the party will have a future.
Palin and Huckabee represent backwards thinking, not the future.

AtSwimTwoBricks 3 years ago 3
I keep hearing people say 'Palin 2012', and it kills me. She did several interviews, each without a handler or ability to use canned responses, and she sounded dumber than a box of rocks. The woman refuses to answer direct questions in debate, and gives canned responses. Then, she gets pranked by a disc jockey posing as the President of France, falling for it hook, line and sinker. Sarah was not vetted or prepared, and I could NEVER support someone that stupid. Sorry, but I speak the truth.

I don't know, but everywhere, the Zionists are thrilled. Americans just keep on proving themselves to be good cattle.
Obama's first appointment? Rahm Emanuel - White House Chief of Staff
Emanuel is the son of the Jerusalem-born Benjamin M. Emanuel - a member of the Irgun, a militant Zionist group.
Second appointment? Larry Summers...
A nice new batch of Zionists dominating the White House.
