Do you know which one is better? Or does the refresh rate matter? Which one would you pick?? PLEASEE HELP!! Thank You

  • @RJMJ100 - I just PM'd you with my thoughts...

  • ***PLEASE ANSWER*** Ok I want to get the Vizio 42 inch 3D because it has 120hz and its bigger. But my room is small and my parents said that no more above 37? ;/ Is there any difference between the two? Do you know which one is better? Or does the refresh rate matter? Which one would you pick?? PLEASEE HELP!! Thank You

  • Thanks bro i got the 42 inch and i had problems trying to get games in 3D Mode lol almost had to buy an emitter never knew to go into options to turn on the 3D mode haha mortal kombat 3D here i be

  • @BinaryCafe Yea I have tried that and it seemed to make a little bit of a difference. It was weird though, because I was playing a game in 3d all day and then when I played MW3 it was normal. It almost seemed as if the T.V. needed to be warmed up or something. Idk it is just strange, I do love the T.V., but this delay problem is driving me out of my mind.

  • Just got this TV for the bedroom and I f-ing love it. I love it so much I watch more TV in bed than the bigger HDTV in my living room. I got it mostly for the wifi feature and the 3d was more of just an after thought but I peeped out a few 3d movies and played some 3d games on the ps3 and I have been blown away with how great they look. Reviewer was right, sound is not the best but fixable with decent stereo system. Great TV for the price.

  • COD black ops on 360 with this set was so fun, deff worth the $390

  • I just bought this tv a month ago and was horribly disappointed by the input lag that was associated with gaming. even with game mode on. another thing that sucks is that on 3-d mode for black ops or Gears 3 it is disabled (game mode) which adds even more lag to the system DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS GAMER!! but is incredible for everything else.

  • @Joeoeo0 i read that if u set ur ps3 down to 720 and run the 3d it helps a lot, along with the game mode turned on...

  • When You Put In Game Mode Is Their Any Lag Because I Really Want To Buy This Tv but I Play Alot Of First Person Shooters Please Get Back To Me.

  • @NotoriousJaee - TV works great for my gaming needs. Check out some comments from other gamers, though. Sounds like 3D for fast action games might introduce latency. However, for me and the games I play----I'm happy. Vizio's last firmware actually let's me play MP4 videos off the USB. It's a great TV that just got better!

  • @BinaryCafe Well Do U Play Mw3 And Does It Has Latency. One More Thing Is Did The Update Fix Any Lag.

  • I really enjoy this TV, but I seem to be experiencing some lag issues. I play on a ps3 as well and run it through the HDMI. This problem only arises while I am playing Mw3. Is anyone else having this issue and if so what can I do to solve this problem?

  • @smoovep88 - Did you put the TV in game mode? That can make a difference. Press Menu on the remote control, go to 'Settings', then scroll down to 'Game Mode' and turn it on.

  • @BinaryCafe I want to buy a VIZIO 32" Class 3D LCD HDTV 1080p with VIZIO Internet Apps 1080p 60Hz, E3D320VX from WalMart and i was just wondering if you could turn 3d mode off whenever you wanted to watch TV or play games with a group of people and still get a good picture? Pls answer back..

  • Is anyone have problems with this tv???

  • This tv has 120hz refresh rate

  • Is there somewhere I can plug my headphones into??????? Someone reply please thanks

  • @regerbryan - This TV does not have a headphone jack.

  • Can u put more videos up of this tv plz

  • what's the refresh rate?

  • @kylerbogert91 - 60Hz. There's a lot of hype about refresh rates, but 60Hz looks good on this set. :)

  • Walmart price is $390 i guess, I will get one..

  • help i cant find headset jack!

  • @cyclojohn44 - There is no headphone jack on the TV.

  • Have you tried using the TV to convert 2D content to 3D?

  • @CalebMush - No, the TV doesn't have built in conversion of 2D source material to simulated 3D, like some others. If your BluRay player has 2D>3D conversion, the TV should receive the signal just fine. I'm not a fan of fake/simulated 3D, myself. To achieve 3D, the source material needs to be recorded with stereoscopic cameras. TV's that do the conversion are using some cool tricks, but it's not the same...

  • did this come with an HDMI cable or do i have to buy one?

  • @ChildofBodom608 - The TV did not include an HDMI cable. The TV mall mount that I purchased (separately) did include an HDMI cable, though.

  • i want to play NBA in 3D but when i put on 3D its look BIG...??? why???

  • i purchased the SAMSUNG UN46D6400 120hz 3D LED... wow it's got a game mode too! try it out if you can.

  • In black ops is zombies 3d

  • I am getting this exsact Tv on the 24 of December

  • 3D at 60hz ?????

  • i play games on my vizio but it looks like garbage compared to my 720p sony why do you think dat?

  • @dannycsn - Make sure HDMI is set up correctly and PS3 isn't downscaling. I had the same issue where a couple games looked like garbage, then I realized that the games that looked bad didn't support 1080. My PS3 was set to only output at 1080 and didn't have 720 selected as output option. So the 720p games were dropping the resolution down to lowest (480) and it looked bad. I added 720 and looks great now. Be sure you're using Game Mode and that you tweak the settings to your liking.

  • @BinaryCafe Yea i went to buy a new hdmi and it looks alot better even tho only in call of duty games you can shadows get darker on the wall while im turning left ... but its not that noticable anymore but yea i changed it and cod is 1080p and i had my xbox at that resolution my friend has the same issue he has the same tv ...but i might add vudu and other hd content looks so beautiful ...vudu 3d movies are crips clean and 3d

  • Can you help me out please? I have the same tv and i have the hdmi cable and 3d blueray player. But i still cant watch my tv in 3d ..do u know how? And how do i connect to youtube?

  • hi can i please get a picture showing how the audio out put is connected when you using a ps3 with the hdmi cable?

  • never mind the tv is awesome and the 3d is epic

  • ok i just bought mine today and is lame so far i do not know how to register my ps3 on to the tv and when i play in 3D it still looks kind of blury and stuff and when i play the game mode turns off on the tv and yea

  • Help i can't find the headset plug in whatever

  • 2:58 Thumbs Up For How He Said "Channel Up, Channel Down" :D

  • after a while, is the tv still behaving and the same as when you first got it. cause i dont want it if it quickly breaks down. =) please respond

  • @SirTryVeryHard - I use the TV almost every day and it is still working as well as the day I got it!

  • @BinaryCafe thank you cause apparently this tv has broken down in 2 days and i dont want that happening.

  • pay rent or buy this tv, hmm....

  • @launchmusicc my mom is debating the same thing

  • im getting the 42" 120Hz version looks great cant wait, but im still looking for a true 3d review

  • please answer my question. when you play the games on the ps3 does the gaming pop out of the screen?

  • @positiveemotions - The 3D effect on some games does make it look like some of the objects are floating in space. In the game 'Child of Eden', some of the special effects really look like they're flying out of the TV. It's really cool.

  • @BinaryCafe but is the 3d gaming still awesome? because i want a tv that will make the games come out of the screen

  • @positiveemotions - Yep, 3D gaming is pretty awesome. If you wanna' take your gaming to the next level, go 3D and get a good surround sound system with subwoofer(s).

  • does the refresh rate affect the 3D experience and does the tv comes with an hdmi cable?

  • @DCBALLIN - The TV refresh rate isn't at 240Hz, and it uses passive glasses. Active shutter arguably provides more resolution, etc.; however, I prefer passive glasses. It's a personal preference. It doesn't come with an HDMI cable, but you cant get them for cheap online.

  • how good is the picture quality in 2d and in 3d. because i want to get it, n i know some vizios have bad quality pictures...

  • @1youngkash - I am happy with the picture quality. Samsung TV's give you darker blacks than this set. It's always a good idea to check out the picture quality in a store, if you can. I wanted a TV that let me play games in 3D, for less than $500 and that could be hooked up to my computer for video editing, too. I'm really happy with this TV because it met my goals.

  • I have a Important question to ask you...... ok before I buy the tv, does the games that are in 3D come out of the screen like ?

  • Does this have a internet web browser? Android apps?

  • @Mudig - The TV doesn't have a browser, but they're adding new 'widgets' all the time. Still, I'd be surprised if they add a browser.

  • does it come with the wall mount because i am confused about that

  • @positiveemotions - No, the wall mount isn't included with the TV. I bought it, separately. As I mentioned in the video, I put a link for the wall mount in the video description. You can use any VESA 200mm wall mount with the TV, if you want, though. Basically, VESA is a standard...the TV has holes in it that let you screw in a compatible wall mount. The one I bought worked great and was very inexpensive.

  • Hi, I have the 47" (E3D470VX) model. It doesn't have a game mode!!! I'm pretty well freaking out, is it possible I'm missing something?

  • @yyyeee222 - Try this: Press the [Menu] button on the remote, then go down to [Settings]. They put the Game Mode in that screen, instead of the [Picture] section, for some reason. You should be able to turn on game mode from there.

  • wait for a 32" is the TV effective...I thought 3d works fine on TVs only if they are on the 50" range

  • do you have to buyt anything extra for the 3d to actually work?

  • @THATkidNICHOLAS - You need to have 3D content, either a game or movie. I use my PS3 for playing games (it rocks!) and watching 3D movies (I don't care about that as much). I also have my Vizio hooked up to my computer with an HDMI cable and I can watch videos on YouTube in 3D.

  • I just got this tv. I have black ops. I went to my settings, on tv and got everything set. Loaded up the game, and the hand shake didn't occur. So I went to the game settings, under 3d settings it said active shutter stereoscopic 3d tv required. I have it hooked up through hdmi port 1. I have refreshed both system and tv, still no luck. Do I need to switch hdmi ports, buy hdmi 1.4 cable? Or am I S.O.L.?

  • One thing you should add in the annotations (im not sure if you did, maybe I missed it) is that passive uses up resolution to create 3d, so an 1980x1080 image will be seen as 1980x540...

  • No web browser?

  • Just purchased the Vizio 32" E3D320VX. I watched Avatar 3D on it and can confirm the 3D is effect weak and you are forced to sit in only one specific location (around 5 feet away and eye level) for the 3D effect to work. I would say the 3D effect is only half there compared to theaters and plasma TVs. This TV does not do justice for 3D movies.

  • Aim planning on getting the 42" modelmsince I want 120hz or more, and the 42 puts out 240hz and it's slightly bigger...

  • Thanx for ur respond u were right the guy at game stop told me what u said about holding down the power button n it worked!!! N yea i hav the slim ps3 thanx for ur time!! Now to enjoy sum cod =] lol

  • Hey i hav a 55" vizio model number E552VL, am having a hard time getting my ps3 to connect. Am using a sony hdmi its conncected to sidd hdmi n game mode is on. I dont know what todo to get it to work tvis 1080 120 hz. Any help will b apreciated alot thank you

  • @tsupra16 - Check the cables to make sure they're plugged in--that's pretty basic. If you're not getting any picture, the PS3 might still be trying output the video on component or composite cable. Got a PS3 slim? When it's powered down, turn it on by holding the power switch on the console, itself...hold it down and don't let go. The PS3 will start up (keep holding down power button), then it'll beep. You should see a message on the screen asking if you want to use HDMI. Say yes.

  • @tsupra16 try this, make sure the hdmi cables are connected, then press your ps3 on button, and hold it for a second beep, then your ps3 SHOULD automatically detect your tv, and this option should appear on your tv if you want to use this setting, you say yes, and then done.

  • @tsupra16 just hold down the power button until u hear a second beep then let go of the power button that resets the audio and everything else for the tv u plug it to

  • 42*

  • Where is the game play portion? Dang! :-)

  • does it come in a larger size? 32" is still a bit small for my taste.

  • @leeradio13 - Yes, you can get it in 32" (E3D320VX), 42" (E3D420VX), or 47" (E3D470VX) models.

  • Great Review. Well done.

  • I bought the 47" version of this tv and had a few issues: first off the lack of LED backlighting made for a lot of light bleeding on darker scenes (pause on a black screen and you can see what looks like a flashlight coming from behind the screen at the top and bottom); secondly the lack of 2d-3d conversion; third, the contrast ratio on this tv is only 200,000:1 for fair contrasts; and finally I had a pixel go out after a month which Vizio told me they could do nothing unless at least 5 died.

  • can you use 3d via the rgb pc?

  • @BinaryCafe - but if you put cod black ops or anything in 2d place it in top bottom, then put on a pair of glasses the left eye will see player 1 the right eye sees player 2.to fix that you will need to put two left eye lenses in a pair of glasses you get player 1s perspective and so on. If you don't understand there is a video with the same tv

  • whats the different with lcd and led TV cuz this one is LCD and i wanna use it with my PS3

  • ii still cant decide whether to buy this or the Sony 3D Dislplay. I dont really care about the widgets much because I can do all of that stuff on my PS3. So besides the widgets main difference I see is the size. which one should I buy? i also hear that black colors on the t.v arent very good

  • @bums5 - Resistance 3 is out--today. For me, that was a huge driver for buying a 3D TV. The release date for Sony's 24" was supposed to be this Fall. Now it's slipped to 12/31/2011. Oops. Are we seriously going to wait almost 4 months to get Resistance as part of a pre-ordered 24" bundle? Anyway, I'm wondering who Sony is going after with a 24" set. Vizio demonstrated they can do 3D at 32" for less than $500. 24" is just...too...small.

  • @bums5 - When it comes to specs on HDTV, they can be misleading. For example, manufacturers measure contrast ratio differently. Anyway, online specs for Sony's 24" are contrast ratio of 5,000:1, whereas Vizio's set is 200,000:1. Sony's set only has two HDMI ports. Vizio has 3. Sony's set has a headphone output, the Vizio has composite and Optical Audio. On the plus side for Sony, they are including a subwoofer. But seriously--5 W for a sub? Sony gives you 1 pair of glasses. Vizio gives you 2.

  • @bums5 - For me, the VESA mount was a huge consideration. I like mounting my TV's (twss). I can't find specs online about whether the Sony set supports VESA, but the Vizio does support VESA mount (200mm). The wall mount kit for the Vizio only cost me $25, and it included an HDMI cable & level. Sony gives you an HDMI cable in their bundle. This item is subjective, but the Sony set's rounded edge are unappealing to me. Above all else, though, size matters. 24" vs 32"? The choice was clear for me.

  • @bums5 - An important consideration when comparing these sets is the issue of passive vs. active shutter technology. Sony gives you one pair of active shutter glasses, Vizio gives you two pairs. Extra pairs of Sony's glasses will cost you $70 each. For Vizio, need extra glasses? Just go see a 3D movie at the theater. On the upside for Sony: with their set, with compatible games, each of 2 players can see a unique image through their active shutter glasses. Admittedly, that's pretty cool.

  • @BinaryCafe is that with every sony tv, like with some kinda firmware up date, or just the 24" that was supposed to be packaged with resistance 3?

  • nice vid :p

  • Thanks for the upload. I've been wanting to buy this tv. I had reserved the SONY 499 bundle with resistance 3 at gamestop but it was a 24 inch only. After watching this i think i will go for Vizio and cancel the reserve. For only 468 and being passive u can't go wrong.
