  • First harpooning the fish, and then explaining how to humainly kill a fish... Lol

  • it 'd be fine if all hunters do it like you, congrats mate..i think you are a freediver also ?

  • Pays to respect your catch and kill quickly, also ensures better quality for the table, and also easier to control rather than a fish going crazy in the boat with sharp teeth,

    Cheers Greg

  • now do that with a shark

  • Sharks are definately a bit tougher, rather let them go, and cut them free, can be Rather dangerous bring them onto your boat,

    Cheers Greg

  • does that work with all fish

  • It does work on all fish, but can be tricky to find the brain on some. I find this method to kill fish works great on bigger Pelagic fish and brings them under control and prevents damage to the flesh or yourself. Work a try and with reef fish, i generally just bleed them and then Ice down straight away. Check out our how to bleed a fish video as well, easy with scissors,

    Cheers Greg

  • can you still bleed it okay once the ike jime is done?

  • If you're quick, still pays to bleed the fih as well, as the heart will still be beating and helps remove the blood and makes for a better eating fish,

    cheers Greg

  • Hey can you give me some advice on fishing?

I going deep sea fishing for cod and snappers this weekend.

Would you recommend metal jigs or Plastics?

  • Would recommend bait, or give the soft plastics a go for bottom species such as cod and snapper. Would recommend the Berkley Gulps, work well and you'll see the 7" ones in our other videos and worth a look. The metal jigs are better for higher speed retrieves and more for Pelagics as the river 2 sea jig in this video for Spanish mackerel or tuna,

    Cheers Greg

  • @Reefari hey mate just wondering. whats with the water on the deck??

  • Self draining decks,a nd was pretty rough that day,

    Cheers Greg

  • @Reefari Thanks for the info!

  • and... goodnight

  • Definately lights out, but the best, most humane way to kill a fish, better than using the old mackerel donga,

    Cheers Greg

  • good stuff...i wish more people knew how to do this.

  • Definately the way to go, nice and quick for the fish,

    Cheers greg
