So here's the thing, I am NOT the crime show kind of guy. I dislike CSI, NCIS and all those other shows. I know a lot of people like them, and I respect that. But with Numb3rs, well, it gets to me. I love it. I'm at the end of season 3 now, and can not stop watching. Favourite episode so far is "One Hour" (3.17), i loved it. It really is too bad this show is cancelled, it being the only crime show I could relate to. Oh well, atleast I have the DVD collection.

Hi,

In my own opinin, this show is absolutely unintelligible cause it develops hermetic and hysteric scenarios played by unsensitive actors.

For common foreign people, there are a lot of pro-republican allusions - in that sense Numb3ers is a basic politic show.

@GoodNewsFromStars ummm...there really isn't any pro-republican allusions in the show. Unless intelligent women doing math and working along side men, People of different races working together peacefully, people working to stop criminals, save lives, and relatively kind to one another be considered pro-republican. If that is the case, it would seem that Republicans were not that bad and that there was no reason that foreigners should not like this show, unless they are against being accepted.

Hi,

I'm not specialist in us political but i really think that despite all this positive vision of a modern community (that is a good thing of course), this show seems to give clues for considering "real life" as a gangsta place wich needs to be cleaned by super "productive" and minded cops.

Well i do no have examples in mind but i remember about something with "bush presidency" or something and picture of black criminal who really looked like Obama's face (surely coincidence).

@GoodNewsFromStars I think the show was trying to portray the show in a "realistic" way. Since the show's premise was that they were a part of the criminal investigastion division of the FBI, there is going to be criminal activity being shown. That wasn't my favorite part of the show either but that is how crime shows usually work. I believe the show ended before Obama's presidency. So a black guy that happened to look like him would be just that. There was no political motivation at that time.

@GoodNewsFromStars Without knowing the episode or probably not having seen it, I can't comment on whether or not he looked like Obama. What I meant is considering the fact that the show ended well before the presidential elections or even the campaign, there would have been no reason for anybody to include an Obama look alike. My guess would be more of a coincidence.

I stopped watching Numb3rs when they sent Peter McNichol's character to retreat of all places. He wouldn't be safe from me there! Honestly, they should have done their demographics first. There's a reason why we persisted with Ally McBeale all those years!
