Great job there mister! Just to add for anyone about to attempt this; go very sparingly with the isopropyl alcohol on the keyboard membrane carbon pads. The alcohol will start to remove them if anything more than a gentle wipe is used.
There's such a big space under the actual CRT monitor, is that because the power transformer is inside the monitor? Are you using a green screen monitor for this machine? I understand there were colour monitors available, I find it hard to understand why even then people would want to use a green screen for one of these computers, I guess the green screens were far less expensive.
@RetroGamerVX I thought that when I typed it, but hey, for all you know he googles Amstrad once in a whie and he may see this and shed a single tear.. then wipe it off with a cheque for $100k
She looks beautiful! Great job! Never forget about the tape control relay!

I bought a 464 Plus last year and the whole thing was covered in dust.
But as the the thing is covered in tiny holes that are a nightmare to clean, I ended up sticking the case in the dishwasher :D
Came up a treat!!!
LarryBundyJr 3 months ago
@LarryBundyJr Yep, that's another method, you can stick the motherboard in there too, but that is for another video :o)
