  • nice pc my dads graphic card is a GeForce 9800GT but i saw this on the dell website as a monthly and wanna get it for my birthday:)

  • what kind of software came with ur xps? like besides monitor drivers ect

  • you have a option to get gaming software included (fully customizable)

  • Nice...

I just purchased an XPS 630 w/ these specs :

    Intel Core 2 Quad-Core Processor @ 2.40GHZ

    Vista Home Premium x64

    6GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM

    nVidia GeForce 8800 GT 512MB

    640GB Harddrive (7200 RPM)

Sound-Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Sound Card

Surprisingly it only costed 1,369 Dollars Brand New.

  • Good video ! try and get some benchmarks up !

  • The one am buying got this speccs

Processor(2,50 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB, 6 MB buff)

    Graphic Card ( 1 GB ATI® Radeon® 3870 X2-grafikkort)

    and 4gb ram :P 4 channels too :P

Note: this is from the Norwegian website...

  • Nice, it's a good computer, you'll see.

    Off topic:

I was just watching the olympics and I saw that Norway totally owned Russia at women handball! I wish this sport was more popular in Canada 'caus i love it.

  • Am proud of my country xD

  • hey im thinking of getting this pc

i cant deside betweed dell xps 60 or 420 or imac 24"

wat sort of video card u got??

  • GeForce 8800 GTX 768Mo

I think PCs and MACs are very different. I have a PC at home but I have an iMac at work.

I'm a gamer so I chose the PC for home otherwise I would have a Mac (even if they are more expensive for what you get in terms of power).

Personally, a "24 inches iMac is a little big for my taste. I prefer a smaller screen and I would buy more RAM and have the best processor. But if money is not an issue for you, go for 24!

  • i just bougt a xps 630 off ebay and arived last night

    and it has Dual 512MB PCIe(TM) x16 NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) 8800 GT w/TV-Out & Dual DVI.

and it has 2 graphics card but 1 has a think on it ( a black manel blocking the ports)

but if u take the black thing off its a nother graphics card y do u they give u to?

what games do u play on it and wat runs best

  • when u say its quad core 2.40 GHz do u mean 2.4 GHZ? cause im on dell site and they only have 2.4

how much ram does it have

    is it fast boot up

can u tell me wat the boot up time is?

  • 2.4 means 2,400 MHz so it equals 2.4Ghz. Make sure you take a look at cache though, modern applications, especially if your multitasking, will demand cache from your processor. 3MB of cache is like the new standard in entertainment PCs.
