The crystals mechanic is retarded! Why did they have to add lame new novelties to an already awesome game? I also notice that Lutz continually takes damage every acting turn...WTF did SEGA do??

I agree that allowing Odin to use the 'crystals' as a form of magic kinda defeats one of his main strengths (which was brute force non-elemental damage). They could've just buffed him up instead of doing this, or better yet disallow Odin from using the crystals but let everyone else use them (perhaps only once or twice every X battles?).

Needed more playtesting, me thinks.

Came up with a new dungeon for my version, the Mixed-up Cavern, it's been inspired by the Lost Woods in the Zelda series.

Unlike the Lost Woods, the Mixed-up cavern will have 8 ways to pick, the middle of the room is the entry, the boss in the dungeon is a swamp scorpion, Scorpious.

Odin still can't use magic, however like the other characters, he can use crystals which are attached to his weapon, which have similar effects to magic spells.

Well in my version, not the same as this, i might consider restoring La Shiec's shadow, but it will look more like him.

black dragon? ...a new boss?!? dragons did look better in the 8 bit because they were hunched over looking. but, this is still cool!
