My friend isn't a Christian because for 5 years her grandmother tried to stuff her so called "christianity" down her throat... Some people don't want to become christians cause they think we are all hypocrites... We say we want to show God's love and reach out but in some minds we won't reach beyond our own circle or let them make the choice... What does that say about us?... That we have been steriotyped? Or that we are blind to our own blindness... Maybe both?...

I do this alot and then when I am done I realize how mean I sounded... and I realize... God does not want us fighting over something like this... This song may not have the CHRISTmas perspective in it but guess what? That many more people will hear it and hopefully listen to all of the other wonderful christian song this band has written... It is sometimes people like me who want to fight so hard for God I fail to realize in my want to do good I have really done more damage...

I don't understand why everyone is arguing over this. It is CHRISTmas after all and we are brothers and sisters. why are bickering like children? You want to show CHRISTmas spirit and Christ's love? then stop bickering.We are all chosen by God because Christ HUMBLED himself so we can spend CHRISTmas in peace and loving eachother like brothers and sisters should. Im sure his intent for the band is to continue to spread the message of Good News, like they always have!!! Actually i am an ambassador For Jesus Christ, and will stand up for what is wrong, we are meant to use the Gifts God has giving us to spread his word not Christmas Spirit, Jesus is the reason for the season and I think baby instead of Jesus when ur a Christian band is hypocrisy, they had a perfect opportunity to take a secular song and use it to glorify God they choose to sell more albums than to do that.

@solidrockuk well at Christmas we celebrate when Jesus was a baby so think it still works. If you listen to the whole of that album then you will see that they have christian songs in it as well and tbh i think its nice to see christians having fun with songs like this, we are allowed you know :)

@fisk090 thats not the point, when a person listens to this song (Not saved), how is it going to help them realize the reason for Christmas... I think that as a Christian Band you are held accountable to God at a higher level just like pastors, and as such should think carefully when choosing secular songs to cover. It annoys me because it would have been so easy to say Jesus we actually did it in our church and sounded great. not questioning their faith just their priorities with spreading hope
