Hi joemm210, I appreciate your concern for my health, but a lot of people find they lose a lot of weight at the beginning of a diet and then it gradually tapers of to a healthy 2-3 pounds a week. My first couple of weeks I lose 5 and 4 pounds respecitvely but I do expect this to level off eventually.
This is very unhealthy to lose 5 pounds in one week, anyone looking to lose weight should aim to lose 1-2 pounds of fat in a week. by losing 5 pounds in one week you risk losing muscle mass. how many people would want to lose 2 pounds of fat and 3 pounds of muscle? while on a diet and losing 2 pounds per week it is also important to work every muscle group this tells your body that you are using your muscles so it shouldnt make them smaller.

@joemm210 um doctors have said if ur obese u can lose that much in a week.
