  • Great videos :)

  • i love Hyojin's face at the end! oscar!!! :D

  • I hear geureotchyo atleast two thousands times during any Korean sports broadcast, it's like they really enjoy saying it... actually it is kinda fun 'geureotchyo!'

  • Why is it that a lot of consonants like ㅈ,ㅅ,ㅊ,ㅎ, are said as a "t" sound? is it for easier pronunciation or something?

  • @anwanrose i learned in my korean class that if those consonants are at the end of a syllable, it sounds like the "t" or sometimes "d". songsaengnim didnt really tell us why tho... :\

  • @anwanrose It's a rule to pronounce final sounds (Note: "Only final sounds!") of syllables as only ㄱ, ㄴ, ㄷ, ㄹ, ㅁ, ㅂ and ㅇ. And 그렇죠 is pronounced as 그러초.(As for this one, there are some more rules.)

    낱개 pronounced as 낟깨 (ㅌ is the final sound so it becomes ㄷ. ㄱ is tensed by ㄷ.)

    낱알 pronounced as 나달 (ㅌ is not the final sound but the initial sound.)

  • @anwanrose Oh, I gave you an improper explanation.

    낱알 is pronounced as 나달 because it's a compound word (낱알 = 낱+알 ---> 낟+알 ---> 나달)

    낮에(meaning: in the daytime) is pronounced as 나제 because ㅈ is not the final sound (and 낮에 is not a compound word but a part of a sentence).

    낮달 is pronounced as 낟딸 because ㅈ is the final sound.

  • i don't know why but i always giggle at the repetitive part. "that's right! that's right! that's right!"

  • omg I've wanted to know what this means for ages. I hear is sooooo much when Koreans are talking.

  • LOL at the end. Her face was like :O. . . Heehee<3

  • @MaggieKSullivan Hahaha :D And you know what? The end was not pre-scripted at all :D

  • @talktomeinkorean Hahaha, no way~ XD Epic improv. <3 I laugh when I think about it. ^__^

  • @talktomeinkorean Wow, you guys are evil :D lol

  • ㅋㅋㅋ Hyojin선생님의 얼굴 after KyeongEun선생님 said "일해요, 그러면" was really funny xD
