Can you recommend a good joypad for Windows 7 for Gradius and other PS games?

@coolgamer1677 I'm afraid I don't have a Windows 7 machine, so I wouldn't know. If the Logitech Rumblepad 2 still works with Windows 7, then I guess I'd have to recommend that, although I use the thumbstick more than the d-pad.

if i get a psx emulator and buy this game and put it in my computer will the emulator play it? which emulator should i use im having a hard time making one work

It should work. I use ePSXe.

How do you get to play two players? I have the PSP version and I lost the disc for the Play Station.

I used a PS1 emulator, which allowed me to control the two ships with the two thumbsticks and four shoulder buttons on my Logitech game pad.

I do :). Especially the BGMs for stages 1 and 9 (parts 1 and 2) and the three boss themes.

Yea Stage 9 Part 1 is the best..and I give this game the best overall Gradius Soundtrack.
