  • Nice one fred

  • Even frame by frame he looks smooth

  • His hips don't turn until he 3/4 into the back swing.

  • Wow, he keeps his left wrist cupped so he has maximum lag well into the the down swing, and then he flattens it and squares it up in just a fraction of the second. That is just freaking amazing, especially considering he does it exactly the same every time. Just about every other player flattens it at the top, or much earlier in the downswing.

  • Don't understant it. His hand is way behind the ball.

  • here you've got an example of someone who basically doesn't miss the center of the face figuring out how to put some nasty heat on the ball.

  • The best swing to watch...ever.

  • ALL wrist..

  • I know it's been well-documented, but the way in which he maintains that wrist angle 'til the last possible moment and then just drops the hammer is sheer beauty

  • and to this day...NOBODY in the game makes a better move with their lower body than freddie.

  • it seems he has the ball to much forward on his stance

  • @sandersuperfollador he doesn't, the ball is supposed to be equal with your front foot for a driver

  • @TigerWoodsFanatic mmmm i think you are wrong mate , the ball is supposed to be in front of your left heel , but anyways doesnt matter , he is freddy couples

  • One of the things that amazes me about Couples is the illusion of handsiness. He does sort of lift it into place on the backswing and cross the line like crazy, but from there on the club is trying to drop into plane, with the left wrist flattening and the shaft setting on or slightly underneath that angle--and then, through impact, what looks to the naked eye like a big flip (at full speed) is actually a superfast rotation that _prevents_ a flip.

  • @emncaity He pulls his left side out perfectly and just turns it over. Its crazy how good that is...but he's Freddy so you've seen him do absolutely everything and make it all look good the entire time. And we all still can't get enough.

  • He should have kept the 1981 swing. The clip is of a driver and to the target angle. Carl Welty

  • @cewelty... there's a little thing called age that doesn't allow people to do the same things they used to.

  • @cewelty

I kinda like his action today, too. Seems to be doing OK with it.

  • I fourth the motion. Awesome!

  • I third the motion. Awesome!

  • I second the motion. Awesome!

  • awesome
