@hedley4lyf And as for haletun chetore, that's a formal way of asking how someone is. The 'chetori' used in this lesson is very informal, and just one way of communicating. There are many ways to say everything!
@justleyla No. Haletun chetoreh? is for more than one person, formally. Halet chetoreh is for one person, formally. Che khabar? is the standard what's up? as a non-formal greeting to someone of the same age group. Chetori is an almost non-questioning form of asking How are you?, semi-formally.
@FTPfReetHepEople "Halet chetoreh' is definitely not formal... it's the informal 'how are you'. The conjugation for formal you and you plural are the same, and that is 'haletoon chetoreh'.
@hedley4lyf Haha, that's one way to put it. This isn't really meant to be a youtube video, it's a podcast. The intro has a lot of talking, you're right, but it's just lesson one.
@legoboy850 It is not hubam. H produces a 'ha' sound as in English. Kheli khubam, or I am very well, is pronounced with a lower-tongue spit-producing 'kha' sound. If such a word existed and was not pronouced with the 'kha' sound, it would be spelled in English letters as hoobam.
