@killroy900 The new drummer is doing what the Rev did(The Double Thing, thats what the Rev called it when he doubled the pace of the song but they kept it at the same pace at the same time which is what makes A7X more unique and the Rev more unique at the same time) which Mike Portnoy refused to do for the Rev's honor but A7X really isn't A7X without it so luckily Arin is continuing it so we will have A7X back but not fully because Rev isn't here anymore :/. do your research :)

I became an Avenged Sevenfold fan in 2005 and they toured in Canada time to time. I unfortunately only got to only go to Uproar but i really wanted to see the Rev in person it sucks so much, but his memory will live on forever.

He had a heart disease. the drugs he was taking for the disease mixed with the alcohol he was drinking was the cause of death. he didnt try to kill himself he was a too nicer guy to want to cause this much upset :/
@MetalandrockfoREVer1 thought I would let you know, he never had a heart disease. The medication he had was for when he had eye surgery because he was done wearing glasses. I know this because I was reading an interview that both his parents did. They explained how excited Jimmy was to be able to read his own alarm clock finally. So yeah he did mix alcohol and his medication which wasn't suppose to happen...but no he didn't kill himself on purpose.

This song was origionally titled "Death" by Jimmy himself. But the band decided to name it "Fiction" as a tribute to The Rev and as well as to not make people dwell on the fact of his Death in hearing the song, or even the title.

His friends, his family, they should've known and heard this song. Take in the lyrics more than what they did. This song, it predicts his death. He wrote his pain into this beautiful song. Nobody knew it, until it was too late.

I hate how people dismiss this album, I have heard people say how dumb&boring it is. My sister told me that this album sucked when I went to get it, But I got it anyway. And this album is AMAZING! I think people don't like it because it is different, and it has more meaning for a lot of the songs. This song && So Far put me to tears. I love Avenged Sevenfold, and for people who don't like the album, Just shut up. Because us TRUE lovers still love it! :))

I became an Avenged Sevenfold fan in 2005 and they toured in Canada time to time. I unfortunately only got to only go to Uproar but i really wanted to see the Rev in person it sucks so much, but his memory will live on forever.

Avenged Sevenfold in honor of the The Rev they took the tattoo he has on the chest and made it a song. Wow this are the greatest persons I've ever seen in my life. Made a song of their fallen commrade. May The Rev be in heaven God.

@TheZH13 They called it Fiction because Rev wrote it and originally named it Death. But Rev used to call himself Fiction so the band decided to make that the song title in honor of Rev.

in the long run does it even matter how he died? i mean hes gone its over we can do anything about it or prove how he died. he was a great artist, drummer, and most of all a great person, he will be missed dearly and never forgotten

@Cooldude3564 naa he didnt commit suicide. in the tribute video it says that Jimmy always knew 2 things.
1) he wanted to be a rockstar
2) he would die before 30
He had a heart disease. the drugs he was taking for the disease mixed with the alcohol he was drinking was the cause of death. he didnt try to kill himself he was a too nicer guy to want to cause this much upset :/

@MetalandrockfoREVer1 thought I would let you know, he never had a heart disease. The medication he had was for when he had eye surgery because he was done wearing glasses. I know this because I was reading an interview that both his parents did. They explained how excited Jimmy was to be able to read his own alarm clock finally. So yeah he did mix alcohol and his medication which wasn't suppose to happen...but no he didn't kill himself on purpose.
