  • 00:27 MJ misses a breakaway dunk and Phil Jackson wants a foul! Haha!

  • :52 bulls camera dude's all smh

  • Yeah, MJ with too much clowning...and his nut huggers find a way to defend it.

  • he needs to work on his ability 2 finish . Try kwame brown

  • A superstar had his lowly games

  • and the mustard came off the hotdog

  • He didn't take off too far out! He just missed the dunk.

  • BUM!

  • 0:20: "Michael took too far off out on the floor and missed it."

Doesn't it feel like Doug Collins was just trying on different words until he found one that fit?

  • @Rake2204

you're spot on!!,, he had no clue wtf he was saying... u can almost hear him think "fck that didn't make any sense" lol

  • look at that shit. pushing his own teammate (stacey king?) what a sore loser. Put a yolk on this negro's neck, he belongs on a plantation

  • I'd watch a MJ fuck up 100 times before watching a Stockton / Malone fast break. *shudders*

  • I was watching that game on tv when it happened. Those air jordan shoes were my favorite model and color combo. Looked cool from far away.

  • miss or not, It still looked damn good! We miss you MJ!!

  • michael jordan can not take off from too far out

  • cool! hahaha...

  • As spectacular a missed in-game dunk as you'll ever see.

  • Lil bit too far out... haha... if you watch closely, just a split second before he takes off, the ball slipped out of his hands, he was barely holding the ball in his fingertips.

  • it hit the front rim before it hit the back rim. he took off too far out.

  • I remember this game very well, after a superior dominance over the L.A. Lakers in the 1991 NBA Finals the following season the L.A. Lakers come into Chicago stadium without Magic Johnson and beat the defending World Champions on their own floor. I think the Chicago Bulls really underestimated the L.A. Lakers coming into this game. The Chicago Bulls normally would have the game tucked away in the fourth quarter especially playing at home!

  • i believe the correction is that he went too far IN instead of too far OUT. like someone said....he hit the back rim. LOL.

  • @PjCphatty89 it did look like he took off too far out. that was a lot farther than he usually takes. he mistimed the drive to the basket.

  • i remember a game wen jordan went to throw one down hard, missed it and the ball went over half court. lol, hes the best

  • To far out? He hit the back rim not the front.

  • That did not determine the game COLLINS your an idiot no wonder the bulls fired your dumb ass.

  • He fumbled the ball as he was getting ready to elevate. He lost his concetration, that's why he missed the dunk.

  • Doug Collins is an idiots.

  • he pushed his own teammate after he missed #21

  • he diddent jump too early...he just missed the dunk LOL he clearly had more than enough air/height

  • Still makes it look amazing.

  • lol at lakers bench taunting mike

  • he coulda took off about five hundred feet further, and WHO WON THAT SERIES? (i love the commentators thinking this would haunt jordan.......shhhhhhiiiiiittt)

  • no, he lost control a little at :13 .

  • true

  • amazing, listen to the crowd.

  • EVEN THIS MISS DUNK

    looks amazing.

  • Well he's the one who created the FG attempt by getting the strip..soo he's allowed to miss LOL

  • haha @ MJ jumping just like a kid would after missing the slam

  • he was piss

  • he missed because he wasnt able to elevate as high as he wanted.. watch him come down and dunk the ball on the front of the rim.

but it is also partly due his fumble of the ball as you guys have pointed out.

and perhaps the crossing of legs too

  • no, he was plenty high. the ball slipped a bit

  • he wasnt too far out... he just tried to pump it but his timing was off

  • I think he missed on purpose!lol He wanted to show the world that he too is human!! It was all part of his conquering plan.

  • I can remember three Jordan whiffed dunks, two against the Lakers. This one, one in the playoffs against the Knicks in '92, and the Fumble in the Forum that ended up being a Bulls loss in OT.

Doug Collins is wrong. Jordan didn't take off too early. He either messed up the double pump, or just didn't have control to begin with. If he stood underneath the basket and then dunked, he'd still miss it.

  • i think he missed the dunk because he crossed his feet when he was comming down that brings your momentum down

  • he makes mistakes look awesome

  • Yeah I was gonna say something similar...even his missed dunks are spectacular...do you remember the one against the Knicks in game 3 of the 92 playoffs?

  • @n3m3s1s2k bullshit. showboating nigger. make the fucking play. ud suck his dick if he fucked ur mother with that diseased black penis of his. ud say he makes fucking moms look awesome.

  • @MrYoyoma33 he makes fucking your mom look awesome :D go and die you piece of crap

  • @MrYoyoma33 dude whats with the vulgar language? you hate Jordan that much?? why?

  • cute

  • he didnt take off to far, he fumbled the ball right before he took off and it messed up his rhythm and concentration. Jordan could take off from the free throw line with ease. Darn! that sucked because that wouldve been a great highlight to have had. It still looked nice even though his missed it

  • I remember there was a lot of hype coming into this game. December xx, 1991, Bulls, Lakers, The Rematch, only on TNT. ahh the memories.

  • Tuesday, December 17th, 1991

  • i only member him fuckin up only about 2 or 3 dunks 2 of which were against the lakers lol. i member wen he was aaaaaalllllllllll by himself and he was in LA and when he went to gather himself he lost the ball off his leg. and the 3rd was in the 2001 all-star game of course i member that dunk like it was yesterday. Break away with everyone watching and it hit the back of the rim

  • He almost drops the ball here too and that's probably why his jump didn't have the normal energy. If you look closely he is not in full control of the ball just before taking off.

  • yeaa ur right good observation !

  • good look

  • i noticed that to. doug colins needs to shut his dumb mouth because he kept saying he took off too far. He never pointed out what you just said. Jordan could take off from the free throw line with ease so the distance had nothing to do with it. He fumbled the ball and lost concentration and control

  • Oh yeah I remember this one, he also missed one the following year against the Fourm against the Lakers. And when they played later on back in Chicago and Chick Hern interviewed him and he and Chick had a good laugh about it

  • I remember this game also. I actually have that dunk from different angle on one of my MJ mixes.

  • by the way RR.. your mixes are my favorite on YouTube! Man you really have a lot of Jordan footage!!

  • Thanks! I don't have many full games thanks to parents taping over them but I used to make dunk compilations with two VHS recorders. So basically most of the dunks from the games and NBA Actions etc were saved.

  • Parents just don't understand

  • who won?

  • Lakers

  • i remember this game...emotions were high
