Things in our (Dragon's and my) lives are certainly interesting these days. Although we know quite well that the Universe will put us where we're supposed to be, waiting for all the chips to fall into place is very frustrating! He's a Grand Trine in Fire (Leo sun) and I'm a Mars-Sun-Moon grouping in Gemini with a disconcerting early Capricorn ascendant, with Chiron right there. Believe me, both my Chiron Return and this finally passing Saturn Return really got me!
@marykmusic I see signs of stress and trials everywhere. You're not alone. For what it's worth, I am convinced that we are transitioning out of a time of physical and financial hardship into an era of consciousness raising, activism and reform. The material hardship will recede as we set to work changing things for the better.
BTW, that's quite a planetary lineup you're dealing with. Capricorn is at ground zero in many ways. They need to take good care of themselves.
@SuperIsabella55 Yeah. But it means a lot more than that. I means we are forced to be self-reliant and often have to fight all of our lives to achieve it. It doesn't mean you are born self-reliant, really. It means this life is about learning self-reliance - and all the pitfalls that come from relying on others. Etc. It's all about tearing away the cobwebs, so to speak, that hold you to other people.
Thanks for the warning. I feel I am being prepared and challenges come the more I grow. As I express myself and people try to put me down and mock me. I find I grow stronger not giving into the urge to attack back. I do not succumb to the ego and I offer an alternative view. Failing in trying to help really sucks, but I must remember I learned from the experience and to take it to my next venture in possibly helping.

I love "I bring the sword" from the bible. I thought no one else noticed it. As a Pisces (3/13/62) I have brought together "being my brother's keeper" and the sword by being my best possible person. No judging but loving others enough to allow them their own paths. I answer questions and help if asked or needed but realize that me staying in the flow is most important thing. Being in my vortex allows me to anchor Christ light in the physical world. Happy 2012 Carl! A lot of comments this month.

But after January, the Sun will move on to spend time in the other signs and the planets that are in them. I don't think Pluto in Capricorn is the big news for 2012. @northwatuppa That new provision allowing the indefinite detention of US citizens, allowing the military to scoop them up off the streets of America . . . that is even scarier than it looks. On the upside, there were some pretty scary laws passed during WWII, giving the government extraordinary powers. I don't want to minimize the danger of such laws, but it isn't unusual to see that kind of thing when the country is at war.
Uh oh...I am a Sagittarius, with an Aries rising with a Mars in pisces. My main worry is my boyfriend who is struggling with money issues already. With all the troubling aspects in January, should I be bracing myself for a breakup?!!?
@Delisle4 If you handle the vibes right, it should bring you closer and help you make the kinds of inner and outer adjustments you need. For me, the crucial thing is whether a person's ego is healthy enough to handle it. But January's vibes will provide enough pressure to budge even the most stubborn ego, I think.
