The blast damage is halved, always, and you round up. btw, how did you cast cataclysm? Another thing to note, its easy to miss, is you reduce the power of the spell by 1 for each full inch between the target model and the Harbinger, that is a very specific point of the spell. It is from the harbinger that you measure to the target, not the arc node, don't know if you were doing this or not, but something to pay attention to.

Ya its right in there, and I completly missed it. We lowered the POW but only from the arc node, not the caster as the rules stated. MY bad big time! But if he let those gun mags survive this game would have been over a lot sonner and been no where near as close as it was. Doremicom's list is very good, mine at this point level is not synergetic.

@deadlyminion1981 Are you sure about the cataclysm thing? because that would make using an arc not useless.

@falknerblitz Yeah, it is for sure, the arc node isn't worthless though, Fear of God is a major spell that you can use, and even cataclysm. Just make sure you have her near the target. She is a great assassination caster actually, if you can get the charge on the model you want to kill, you can charge, auto hit, get the boosted damage, then use your remaining focus to cast cataclysm 2 times boosted damage rolls on the target. most things die at pow 20 boosted.
