It is a shame that she passed in 2005 of cancer. She had such a beautiful voice and I am sure she was a wonderful person with the light that she gives off. We will miss her brilliance and her bounty. I've heard so many times this aria with Callas and Sutherland, and I didn't perceive any note sung wrong by Elizabeth Parcells (I don't have the music score for this) except if the other two Divas sang that wrong too.

Miss Parcells is a great "lirica legera coloratura soprano" with delicious voice, but it seems to me that some times is very little up or down the tone in the highest"res or mis".R.Peters think is the greatest "legera coloratura" of the fifthies & sixties. It's so sad and unfair that she's been so greatly overlooked and underrated. I'm sure many of the so-called "great" sopranos of recent times aren't half as good as her.

What a voice and what a lovely human being. It must have been terribly difficult to sing in that hall and she overcame all the problems. She communicates with the audience and that is a real gift. All the absolute best in her singing carear.
