Okay, I had a hard time watching this movie the first time. too. You have to realize this is a new djinn. The story goes that there is a whole race of djinn. For the first two movies, which I love, follow one djinn, Nathaniel Demerest. The others follow the second djinn which has no real name. I love the 3rd and 4th movies just as much as I love the first two. You need to give the movies a chance.

This one was def better than part 4. But it was still a major dissapointment when compared to the first 2 with Fivoff as Nathaniel Demerest/Djinn; and those 2 were so much gorier, funnier, and more well done.

It's like it series got sold out and amde shitty to try and be more mainstream and hip! ugh!

One thing I discovered on the DVD is that if you change the audio during the movie, you can find a third audio option not found in the menus. It's actually the same commentary track from the second audio option, but I don't get why it would be in two different places.
