If you want do have your Acekard 2i updated for 3DS V2.0.0-2, and you can have it updated on your 3DS V1.1.0-1 or lower version. But it can only work with this update patch ak2ifw_update_3ds_v2_DSi.nds

Acekard 2i after being updated for 3DS can still work for DSi and DSlite.

If you want to have your Acekard 2i updated, you should check the Hardware ID, this update supports HWID 81 only.

If your Acekard 2i works on other DSi console, you can check this way. Power on with Akaio 1.8.6a, and you can find START at the right down corner on the bottom screen, press it and you will see Help option, press Help and you will get the Kernel Version and Hardware ID.

Do you know if the AceKard currently works with pokemon black/white online? My R4i-sdhc doesn't at this point in time, but I have to use WPA for wireless so that could be a reason too since most DS games were built to support WEP (Black/white supports WPA though) and I dunno if WEP was a hardware/kart level requirement rather then the game software itself.

@kirox777 I guess it's more of a double edged sword problem. They can't kill the systems that have the game in them, cause imagine the people who actually /have/ that game. It'd be a system defect that the owner didn't cause, which can lead to serious problems on Nintendo. Honestly, I don't know all the details to it, but the people at Acekard knows what they're doing. They've disguised their game before as a Danny Phantom game. If they've disguised their cart as something other than a (1/2)

A note to anyone running the firmware update on a DSi: launching the update by pressing A might cause update to immediately cancel (the instructions are press Start or any other key to abort.) I got around this by launching the game by tapping icon on the touch screen instead.
