It's quite nice. I was considering the HM-2, both Big Muffs, and the DF-2 for all-out distortions, but I'll definitely be considering this one as well, expecially since it's not as rare as the HM-2 or DF-2.
I have the amp here, except it's completely battered from gigs and has spray paint all over it. Not sure anyone cares though. What's the murf pedal like?
I love my MD-3. it's simple, and does the job. I haven't had a chance to try the Carbon Copy so I can't really compare. Maybe the Carbon Copy may be a little darker since it's analog.
It breaks each tone into its constituent overtones, and runs a filter sweep across the overtone spectrum (from low to high, or vice-versa). You control the frequency of the sweep, and the cut-off.
I hope that makes sense. Check out my vids of me screwing around with one as well. Although this guy does kick some pretty serious ass with it.
some bullet for my valentine shit...

I perfer the Digitech Grunge (but only run on Radioshack brand batteries). THis is one pedal that you WILL hear a difference in with batteries.

try the fuzz war (death by audio)

Tetramagnaton 3 years ago

not even close to ambient

seems like an aleatory arpeggiator...with tremolo

What does this Murf do exactly? Is it an oscillator?
omgroflzpwned 4 years ago
it isn't an oscillator.
it's kind of hard to explain, but I consider it as a weird phaser&tremolo.

Nice, I just got my Murf a few days ago. What pattern are you using?
babyharpsealclub 4 years ago
I think it was 11.
Envelope:1, Mix:9, Rate:6.
I think I need a loop sampler or something..
