I liked this vid because the exposition was not contrived and it really spoke to that whole Mise En'scene concept missing from so many derivations of film Auteur Complet'. With that in mind, I did find the noir atmosphere very bespoke to the audience and wish it had delved deeper into both intention and form. To wit, I feel obligated to say it could stand some more polished editing. Regardless, the part with the jumping was cool and made me WTFLOLkittyPoop.

I gotta ask, though: This is not an actual criticism of the movie, is it?

Because white man tried to KILL THE NA'VI with superior technology, and it was a white man who only facilitated the treatment of the problem. (If you'll remember, it was the forest itself that ultimately defeated the invading armies)

So in reality, the white man could still be accused of only fixing what he himself broke, and thus, did virtually nothing.

On another note, the movie was mediocre.

First of all, I'm not even recommending it if you want to see a movie that's deeper than life. Second, no it's not. It's a well-made, bigger than life blockbuster which is also beautiful. If I go to the movies, I'd want to see a movie like that. If I sit on my couch, I'd watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind or Shawshank Redemption.
