I heard this today in Starbucks. I like it, and I am not a big country music fan.

In Starbucks, I hear a lot of the songs from my own music collection. But I also hear a lot of new stuff and music from around the world.

I'm a big fan of the late Papa Wemba (even before Starbucks). I never would have heard that Diana Krall "Hit That Jive Jack" song, if I hadn't heard it in Starbucks.

And Rufus Wainwright "Hallelujah."

truly amazes me... the amount of ignorance and under-educated opinion that flies around. If you knew anything about Shelby Lynne at all, you would know that she told the industry to go blow themselves rather than make her into a Stepford performer... she does HER music HER way... i thank her for having a set and going on her own... Sheryl Crow's scrapped debut album of 1992 was way after Shelby stole the hearts of Nashville... she was a star at 19.

@Kellogs43able So, very true. But, Sheryl Crow is far more talented. The two actually performed Sheryl Crow's "The Difficult Kind" at the Grammys. You can find it on youtube. Check out Sheryl Crow's single "My Favorite Mistake" from her album "The Globe Sessions". One of the greatest singles and albums ever to be released!!!

@MrDonrob81 but sadly shelby never lived up to her winning that grammuy for best new artist a few years ago...she keeps making records, but she's still under the radar...sheryl starting to fall off too...her last album sounded like r and b muzak...which is not a comliment...my favorite song by sheryl is always by your side, that song she wrote about lance armstrong...lance was a fool for letting her get away...
