i think thats 1 of the best starter cars for the speedway, besides the clk, or a used sl. nothing over 30,000 thu. i'm thinking about getting a mini or a sl for the track i'm not sure, i'll be happy with either but i'd rather the benz since its gonna be a safer crash.

the mini has a 5 star crash rating and would be a lot less exspensive to take care of. I have an 04 mini and Love to destroy porsches and vipers on track!

ah, I have a 2006 Type S, no work done on it. I'd like to see if the chip will do any difference, i don't want to do much into it since it's in warranty still.. I live in Miami fl

PBOC Florida hosts weekends there a few times a year (as well as Sebring). We will be at Sebring on Oct 27-28, 2007. You should come out! There is a combination of stock MINIs and modded ones. This one in particular has a pulley, intake, exhaust and some suspension work.

They call it a Mini - but I see these guys on the track and there ain't nothin' Mini about 'em. Even following in a higher powered car, a good driver in a Mini can be a challenge in the back-fields. That is where the Mini can really hang..and where most of the sports car races are won. Great driving here! This guy has this car plugged in like an appliance!

haha i have one of these cars parked in my front yard! it is my favorite, i love it. i dont much like the spedometer location though, everyone in the car yells to slow down all the time cuz they can see speed.

I was supposed to attend this event as media for my high school's news channel. Unfortunately, my crew and I were unable to attend due to unforseen events. I will, however, attend future events. It's good to see this footage! Hope to see you there and possibly get an interview!
