Donna, started watching your videos when you lived in Florida because I live in Central Florida, Clermont. You inspired me to give the square foot garden a try, I have done raised bed in the past. We too have been looking in Western NC the area of Black Mountain for a summer home, just love that area! Glad to see you are back to posting your videos, I started posting last season and just filmed my first video of the season.Looking forward to what you will be doing this Spring, have fun!

Very glad to see this. It gives me an idea of how long my garden will last. We haven't had a freeze yet. Have fun in Atlanta! Maybe next year I can plan on meeting up with you.
@awinbush99 That would be soooo very cool! This is a spectacular event girl! Go with us next year! Gotta get tix early though....sells out fast! No hard freeze in Atlanta yet? I'll bet your garden is looking great. I got some suggestions for the chard and the mole problem on the video I posted of your garden....maybe you saw it?
@Planting81 My freezing temps arrived too early for me! Hope to get some sugar peas and brocolli.
It will be interesting to see if the brocolli does not mature by winter (hope it does), if it survives over the winter and into the spring. We shall see!
My garden looks about the same..I picked a big fat zuchini off mine today, I was amazed. Got a few green beans and small tomatoes I put on the window ledge to ripen. I am amazed that the tomatoes and zukes are still blooming and trying to put out fruit. I hope they get to mature but I doubt it. I am just not going to clear it out til everything completely dies. It's so nice to not see bugs in the garden like this past summer. I hardly got anything then. Hope your cold goes away soon & have fun.

I WISH I had your yard full of leaves. I'm having an awful time scoring leaves for my garden mulch and compost..
Hey Florida girl, I have heard you say you like kale, wait until you taste it after a freeze. I think you are in for a happy surprise.

@LavenderDebs Yummy! I read the cold weather makes it sweeter? We have plenty of leaves, that is for sure!
