@timmyisthefly You can still use both. Arcane warrior just uses magic points like strength points to use armors and fight better with swords, but at cost of mana, so you're going to use a lot of lyrium to cast spells or just use buffs to physical fight...

@JeffClarkis Actually he only dispels only bad magic like dots of fire spells paralizing effects and that sorts of things.

@timmyisthefly OK so for the first question:later on the game you discover that flemeth wants to kill morrigan to gain immortality and that she had been doing that for several years to her other daughters.If you want to become shapeshifter then talk to morrigan when the approval is high enough and simply ask if she can teach you to become shapeshifter.

@timmyisthefly.You get a mastery point on lvls 7 and 14.You unlock the blood mage specialization if you choose not to kill the demon in the fade when you get there to drive the demon out of conor.You can do that by choosing a reward when she offers it to you rather than trying to kill her.On scale 1 to 10 I would give a 7.When you go and talk to morrigan in the camp after you've given her the grimoire,she'll tell you to go kill flemeth.Go without morrigan or flemeth won't appear.

@Skibbaaa well, I like both actually, I'm a mage, and i give any rogues and warriors a bow, and everyone gets 2 daggers or a sword and shield, i think mages are just as good, they don't do as much damage as archers, but they have spells that just plain kick major ass!

@HjeRmProduction You can. It is one of the 4 spec, if you are a Mage. You can be, believe, a Spider, a Bear, and a Swarm. The swarm is awesome because all u have to do is fly by an enemy and a piece with break off and start attacking. So u can be dmging MANY people at once.

@HjeRmProduction It does seem boring, but with the last Shapeshifter skill, "Master Shapeshifter", each form(bear, spider, and swarm) will look diff and will be more powerful

Best to kill Flemeth when your Level 16 or 18

Then Use Stern and Oghren to attack they Should have Axe or Two Handed Sword with 15 Dmg by now

Equip Everyone with Anti Fire Dmg Amuletts or Ring

Theres a Hammer with - 20 % Fire Dmg on it

and Heal your Party from the Back with Wynne and Group Heal

you need circa 40 Medium Lyrium Potions for this Battle

i killed the 1 above the ashes not so hard had every 1 charge in with about 50 Hpotions ROFL alistar got final blow plus the 30g secret achiv if u could send me a mssg telling me were the black gilmore is in the mage tower that would help so much

I actually did this with my arcane mage (main), wynne, Leliana and Shallen. Shallen would be the only melle, fire crystal to increase resistance, at that point, my arcane warrior didn't had any heal at all, so staff on the dragon and magics. Leliana with bows, pretty easy battle, so you can do this without 2 mages in the party, I think it's even easier to do it when your only concern is to keep one tank alive.

Flemeth is easy enough on hard mode

Main character was a Melee Rogue

Others are wynne , sten , shale

Shale is my tanker while sten is secondary tanker than wynne just camp behind a tree and heal

@JoshThomasWhitaker Take lots of people who can use ranged attacks. Have your toughest warrior taunt her, and stand just outside melee range, facing Flemeth away from the group. Use a warmth balm. Hopefully your group kills her before you run out of health poultices.

get a ton of poultices (I'd say at least 50 regulars,greaters, or potents) and use everything you can to keep the tank alive and down it quick. This battle suddenly becomes a dps race when faced without a healer. I would reccomend restarting the game, since mages are probably the most flexible and powerful characters in the game, and killing Wynne, who has "Vessel of the Spirit" is such a waste.

@timmyisthefly She too importand...I had to load back to the point I killed her to undo the kill and I had almost finished the game.She's so importand because she's the only healer you will find AND propably the only way to become one is to talk to her.If you're not bored of replaying the game go back and save her.She's totally unreplacable.
