I watched this when I was a small child (mid 1970's). Would be cool if they would release DVD. Anyone know if episodes could be copied onto home computer from Youtube??? thx!
We used to watch this when it first came out in Japan in the late 60's. In Japan, he is Maguma Taishi, the bad guy is Goa. I love these old skool Japanese monster shows...some of the Goldar episodes that did NOT make it to the US, included those that featured monsters than crawled around on their hands and KNEES!!! Funny to see a creature that was supposed to be 4-legged, but the limitations of the Japanese rubber monster suit had them on their hands and knees...way too amusing!
I can't believe I found these. I loved this show. Was my all time favorite in grade school...This was the start of my sci fi love. been a junkie ever since. These were the first transformers and yes they definetly sparked the power ranger revolution. I remember acting out these episodes on the playground. We used to love those ninja dudes and how they rolled their heads when they talked. Looking at it now its totally cheezy, but was the joint back in the day.
I remember how those creatures in the ninja outfits used to be able to melt and flow under doors etc. When they died, their remains would shoot up some kind of flower.
dick1222 thank you for these videos i showed them to my son i told him these were way before the power rangers. and deflepfan70 i remember battle of the planets too the 70's and 80's had the best shows and music
I can't believe that I finally found this show. I have been trying to locate this for months to show my son the type tv shows we watched as kids. I loved this show, I can remember rushing home to watch it.
Ditto that. I loved this show too when I was little...but Rodak looks so funny now. I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw him after all this years.
Rodak was a little Homer Simpson. He only had four fingers. This was done before 'The Black Hole'. It reminds me of the command center of the Cygnus, which may or may not have been inspired by this show.
The objective looks like the Apollo 11 lunar mission as engraved on the Eisenhower dollar coin. This leader looks funny encased in foam resembling metal. Metal smithing is an ancient science like Alchemy. Who is this leader, he is not Eisenhower?
y falta ver cuando los "uy uy uy" se hacen gelatina con las pistolas laser de nico y goldar!!!! yo tenía 6 años cuando veía esta seria por alla de 1979.
The Rodak Monolouges! My friend, I cannot thank you enough for posting this. I've been waiting for about 30 years to see a Rodak montage! This made my day. Keep them coming! Long live Rodak!
Ultraman woulod have kicked Goldar's butt.
