Now a days? That was less than 2 years ago. Anyway, I wish our students (I'm one of them, by the way) would realize that no one is impressed that we only tailgate and don't go to the game. Every school has a ton of tailgating...the difference is they actually support their school. And good lord, its not like tickets are expensive! Our student body sucks.

Well Tom Crean is a good coach that is doing good thing with a bunch of freshmen walk-ons. We will be good in a few years. And tradition is connected with talent. Look at teams with a lot of tradition Notre Dame, the Yankees, the Coyboys... All have won multiple national championships... Name one team that sucks with alot of tradition besides the sucky cubs
In sports, it's not necessarily tradition, but what have you done for me lately. What has IU done lately? Gotten demolished, 62-10. Gotten put on probation. And in case you want to pull out the history books (as ancient as it may be) Purdue actually has one national championship: 1932.
