You also realize that Democracy cannot be established if there is no separation of church/mosque and state. The Constitution of Iran made every law subject to the approval of the Mullahs. Be it Republic; be it Monarchy, Iran could not have a democracy so long as the Mullahs had a say in the government. Democracy can only exist in a secular government.

You also realize that Democracy cannot be established if there is no separation of church/mosque and state. The Constitution of Iran made every law subject to the approval of the Mullahs. Be it Republic; be it Monarchy, Iran could not have a democracy so long as the Mullahs had a say in the government. Democracy can only exist in a secular government.

the late shahanshah is great at sending not too subtle insults at the united states and israel in his interviews. they tried to bring iran into the fold of the puppet states of america, and you can see he didnt like that too much behind their backs, he insulted them

Long live Iran and freedom indeed. you should realize if the Shah was so great, he wouldn't have been betrayed by the very people who put him in power, and if he was such a great ruler, the promise of a better country wouldn't have phased over 80% of Iranians to dissent against him. Sadak is just one example of this "progressive leader" torturing, censoring, and detaining political prisoners. He was VERY AHEAD OF BUSH in committing crimes against humanity.
