Nice setup, the only thing missing is a nice house (not the log) to hide in and some soft bedding. Hamsters should always have a place to go and hide and be able to feel safe.

I've read a lot of hamster books and in EVERY book was this information: ,,the beddingt must be 40 centimetres high!''  If not, the hamster can't dig. And this bedding isn't really god for a hamster...

And almost everything in this cage is plastic. If the hamster eats plastic, he will die.

I just don't want to see a hamster, which has got a sad life. Sorry.

1. Her cage is basically used to sleep in.

2. I've seen her run in her wheel thousands of times and she can fit perfectly inside.

3. Her bedding definitely does not stay like that. She shapes it and moves it around to fit her needs. For proof, I can share a photo with you.

i hade them same problem my gerbils escaped there plastic cage but i bought a 10 gallon tank and i was cleanin it and it bumped my wall and cracked but for now i have a peace off plastic in front of the crack i hope it will last a few days longer=( but im getting a new one soon deff plastic!!!!

i have a crittertrail never ever had a problem with it, maybe im lucky or maybe your hamster is smart or you put the cage together incorrectly (most people do i go to my frinds and fix them)
