VNV nation is from the UK / Ireland.

You're probably mixing them up with Bruderschaft, their singer sounds just like Ronan Harris from VNV nation... When listening to underground radio, I sometimes think: "is this VNV nation? how come I don't know it..." then it usually is Bruderschaft ;-)

It is easier said than done, I think what I love about their music the most is it as almost if Ronan can relate to what we have all gone through.
