  • How can Rod Steiger be taken seriously playing a Mexican??He looks nothing like either Mediterranean or Native American....

  • MASTERPIECE!!!!

  • Probably my favourite film.

  • Leone was the best director of his day almost without question, the only one who had a chance of challenging his title would probably be Francis Ford Coppola, but Leone would still win that battle. very few directors ever had talents or ambitions as large as his. The only modern Directors that i think posses equal talent would be Michael Mann and Quintin Tarentino but Leone's ambition would still be greater.

  • What is the name of the music that starts at 0:06 ? I'm guessing its Morricone's music, but what is the name?

  • @monksally i dont know the name but it plays at the beginining of a fistful of dollars when clint stand at the water well and watches the kid get beat by the guys

  • i could watch this movie a million times and never get bored

  • Classic!! Sergio does it again! Find it hard to think of another director that can maintain such a high level of violence yet still deliver it with a good dose of humour.

    Pure genius!

  • loved this film, the only things i didnt like about this film was the constant eery backround music "sean, sean" and the amount of long pauses the film contained where there was nothing said or done. Rod steiger added a lot to this film. would i be wrong in thinking that it needs a re make a more modern touch, just to improve the flaws that ive identified

  • @CashmanIRE what you've identified as flaws are the very things that defined Leone's "style"

he was infamous for his long drawn out shots and long pauses of silence and the eerie music in the background. To say thats what bothered you about it is basically saying you have a problem with the director .

  • 'Sean Sean, Sean...'

  • This movie has 3 official names "Fistful of Dynamite", "Duck, you sucker", "Once Upon a Time In The Revolution". Giu la testa aka. Duck, you sucker is the original name, given by Leone himself. This movie is truly great, and, for some reason, idiotically underrated.

  • for anyone wondering, yes, this is the same film as "Duck You, Sucker." Coburn says that phrase several times as he blows things up.

  • Not seen this looks good - why they keep saying duck you suckers...lol.I love Sergio Leone - he is meticulous when it comes to scenes. A true artist.

Nobody like him - though you can see he has influenced virtually all the modern day directors such as Tarantino.

    Wck

  • So unterrated movie. Another masterpiece by Maestro Leone.

  • whats the music at 0:23?

  • @RedEliteFilms the music is from the film "the good, the bad and the ugly"

  • @wheeliegrandad

Rly? cause i could swear its from this. and whats the name?

  • Ennio Morricone is impossible

  • Leone and Morricone .....one of those rare perfect combinations made in heaven

  • same feeling guys , the old cowboy films are always special to watch . the mexican guys accent just make it more funny .

  • pure genius !!

  • just watch it one of the best 20 movies made in my list

  • Another great Sergio Leone movie :D

  • best film ever

  • yes i agree with below

  • I remember watching this film for the first time many years ago. I feel the film has a strong message in it and it stirs an emotion in me that I can,t really explain and it has that effect on me every single time I watch it. Every so often a film comes along and it impacts on you. This is one of those such films. BRILLANT THE BEST CLASSIC EVER!

  • @mcmiguel

The same feeling one gets while watching Once Upon A Time In America. Late Leone will remain the best director this world has ever seen. Nobody will ever come close to his work. Nobody. Ever.

  • This movie was originally released under the title "Duck You Sucker." I guess it didn't go over too well. Thanks.

  • well the movie failed at the box office, but it's still great

  • I almost slept at the begining of this movie (I´m taking medicines that don´t help) but after the first hour it got me. the Truffaut reference was something!! maybe my favourite leone´s too.. i have to watch them all again before decide it.

  • My favourite Sergio Leone film
