  • Is it me or were these games way beyond their time? I mean, in the non game story sense. I think the old Acclaim was thinking of future game consoles when they made this series. Sucks they got bought out, i dont even know if the new "Accliam" will be continuing XG. This series and Wipeout was what got me into electronica. XGRA then got me into Electronic Metal and i found one of my all time favorite producers.. Celldweller.

  • @DriftAnime I know right? the weapons were so advanced, shame the 64 could barley handle it. I think they should've of waited for the next-gen consoles (PS2, gamecube, Xbox) to release the Extreme G series.

  • "Reah fiyah rockette launchah...."

  • very sick track

  • Me han dado ganas de jugarlo de nuevo después de casi 6 o 7 años que lo dejé de jugar :D

  • this is an equivalent to drum & bass

  • All I can think of is, "3, 2, 1, GO".

  • MULTIPLE MISSILE... REAR-FIRE ROCKET!! lol.

  • @Doomsdaywarrior dangg i remember that ahah

  • @Doomsdaywarrior by far the best racing game ive played

  • epic

  • xg2 and xg1 awsome games guys games i wont forget

  • i was 11 or 12 as i played this game, never listened to the soundtrack. Now i'm 22 and i love DnB, and now i know how fine the soundtrack of this game was.

  • I think the XG games and the SF Rush games have alot to do with why I started listening to Front Line Assembly and other industrial bands... the mix of breakbeats and synthesizers is quite similar.

  • not to hate on this game, but it seemed like the production value and musical score were way better in the first extreme G. cooler tracks too.

  • Really? I think it is absolutely the best music possible for a futuristic racer like XG.

  • man i got two thumbs down? OK OK i understand but really dance trance and techno have always been the norm for anything futuristic> really what movies or other games do you know that exclusively use dnb. Like i said i thing dnb is great but not for this series and that why i has never appeared in the series since (well now it probably never will )

  • Actually, there is a DnB song in XGRA. It is called "The Stars of Orion" by Celldweller.

  • i kinda agree, but i would have loved a mix of techno and D&B. you should also be able to pick what song you want to hear, but this is N64...

  • OMG

    i really want this song

  • this song is HOT!!!...could i have this song? lol

  • me too!!!
