  • these ppl r the real deal. nicely tuned!!! look @ that thing rip

  • such a sexy car

  • extremely extremely nice fucking jesus car..... i jus hate that it is being used to go in a straight line.. that amazing car is a drift god!!! i would give a left or right nut for that car....

  • @Jenwu21 It's more than that, it's a beast for any track event out there.

Drifting, especially in stock form, isn't the easiest for this car. It was designed to grip, so from what I've heard, and seen, a stock FD, and FC for that matter, fight drifting hard, to push back into a normal angle. Nothing mods don't fix, but factory, they love pure grip.

  • i see where your comming from... but i see a stock car as pointless, youve gotta stand out... im a big fan of drag racing, but the RX7 is my favorite car.. and im a big drifting fan, and soon to be drifter...

  • And I understand that, but I see a car as having to be potent in it's stock form, because modding it takes it away from what it originally is. Yes, it does stand out, and can change every single aspect of the car, but well, you get what I mean.

I will say, my FC isn't stock, haha. But even so, in a field of close opponents, the Rx7's can hold themselves stock vs stock well. And of course, modded vs modded.

  • @xlxViperxlx im lookin into buying an FC actually... its about 10K less than the FD. but with all these bills and work is every other week for construction im lookin at bills for now... and yes i understand where your comming from, and i slightly agree.

  • @xlxViperxlx you have never driven an fd have you if you have then u are a rubbish driver i have a stock rx7 that has been rebuilt and bridged but when it was stock i drifted around every coner 180 degrees to 90 , u can spin this car a two pence coin it loves to drift IF YOU KNOW HOW TO DRIFT. Front engine, rear wheel drive LSD and 50 50 weight distribution. This lends it to brilliant grip and conering but flick ur wheel and give it some ur sideways. sick car, shame so many of u have no clue

  • @brettmalley I prefer the clutch kick vs power on drift style on the rx7.

  • @brettmalley had a 93 R1 FD with bonez clutch 99 effeni turbos, bonez dp's and a greddy sp1 catback (sounded deep and MEAN) dyno'd at 340hp.

  • @brettmalley Well, considering I owned an FC, and now own an Rx8, which I could take a picture of with me holding a sign to show you it's my car..

And as far as an FD, I have three friends with them(Rotary clubs are a great way to meet several people with the same car), and being in them, I can feel how a completely stock one fights back. Yeah, they can break loose easily, but to hold it, well...

There are a good number of mods to fix that though, of course.

But yeah, I do have a clue.

  • @Jenwu21 then buy an fd, rebuild the engine with a bridgeport, bung on big turbo (and miscellaneous cooling, fueling, and reliability upgrades) and your golden

  • Such an awesome run! not sure why people ran to hold the back down, they definitely were not needed! crazy how there's no barriers... would never happen here.

  • damn, that thing is quick.

  • damn, that was fast!

  • oh n i love how the backside of the fd went down when it launch :D

  • rubber smell :D

  • It decreases like an eraser.

  • lolz oki . i believe so , given the horsepower it has . :D

  • how much horse power does that fd3 have

  • 700-800 Horsepower there.

  • @motomu1092 DAMN 800 HP!
