I agree, but people won't understand. I don't know when, but American citizens were asked about the Marxist slogan "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need". If you ask people what they think about Communism, Socialism, Karl Marx etc. they are still in the Cold War era and its propaganda machine and prefer Capitalism/Free markets aka Plutocracy.
Also, in my opinion, Communism, Marxism or any political ideology should never be dogma. Marx had great insights, but his ideas are flawed, therefore you have to improve them or deviate from them almost completely. Think about Social Democracy or the capitalistic Nordic welfare model - chances to have it are much better than to have a working communist state (no state, class, ownership over means of production,...).

That was the initial goal set forward by Lenin. Socialism transfers to Communism by "withering away" the state. However, the biggest mistake the party made was allowing there to be a power vacuum after Lenin's death. Anytime there is a power vacuum the more ruthless comes out on top, In this case Stalin. He then started purging all "counterrevolutionaries" and in order to do that you need a large government, therefore they were doomed to fail. He strayed away from Lenin's path.
I'm a communist I studied it from books, Marx, Lenin, etc. History makes it obvious that Stalin caused the whole thing to backfire. Either way, the world was not ready for Communist revolution at that time. the powers of production hadn't reached a high enough degree. Today however, what you see with the mass protests is Marx's theory in action. Socialism is inevitable, simply it is the nature of capitalism to centralize wealth, put profit first, and be imperialistic.
Lenin introduced the Vanguard party, with the goal to dissolves after the revolution is complete. Lenin didn't introduce "authoritarianism" into Communism, since that is impossible. He introduced the application of a vanguard party to lead the way through socialism and to eventually wither away resulting in Communism. Which is in a sense a good idea, the use of a vanguard party to lead the revolution, as long as the party stays on track. Stalin made up his own rules on Leninism.

Just like socialism doesn't mean nationalism, capitalism doesn't equate to a democratic republic. Nothing is stopping a capitalist country from becoming an aristocratic totalitarian state just like nothing is stopping a communist state from holding elections and it's regions having representatives.
You can't group a state by it's economic structure alone. You don't see socialist states in Europe with ruthless dictators, because it's democratic socialism. Just like america, while staying capitalist is becoming nationalist, fast.

The USSR was State Capitalist, and quite authoritarian. All of these things cannot equal to communism.
However, funny thing is the USSR never claimed to be a "communist" country. That was a label put on it by the west. They claimed to be Socialist (The transfer phase between Capitalism and Communism) However, they went about it all wrong thanks to Stalins dumbass self and didn't even succeed at that.
Lenin had it going in the right direction, Stalin drove it into the ground.

That was the initial goal set forward by Lenin. Socialism transfers to Communism by "withering away" the state. However, the biggest mistake the party made was allowing there to be a power vacuum after Lenin's death. Anytime there is a power vacuum the more ruthless comes out on top, In this case Stalin. He then started purging all "counterrevolutionaries" and in order to do that you need a large government, therefore they were doomed to fail. He strayed away from Lenin's path.

I'm a communist I studied it from books, Marx, Lenin, etc. History makes it obvious that Stalin caused the whole thing to backfire. Either way, the world was not ready for Communist revolution at that time. the powers of production hadn't reached a high enough degree. Today however, what you see with the mass protests is Marx's theory in action. Socialism is inevitable, simply it is the nature of capitalism to centralize wealth, put profit first, and be imperialistic.

Lenin introduced the Vanguard party, with the goal to dissolves after the revolution is complete. Lenin didn't introduce "authoritarianism" into Communism, since that is impossible. He introduced the application of a vanguard party to lead the way through socialism and to eventually wither away resulting in Communism. Which is in a sense a good idea, the use of a vanguard party to lead the revolution, as long as the party stays on track. Stalin made up his own rules on Leninism.

Hence he introduced it to communism. Instead f it being socialist and run by the people the Soviet Union under Lenin was ran by the government which is the opposite of socialism. In fact the system was a lot closer to the tsarism that it replaced. He made himself dictator instead of the people. He was a tyrant.

Yes, the thing failed because the Party simply did not dissolve. As for Lenin being a tyrant, that can be debated back and forth. Lenin's goal was to dissolve the party, the goal could not be completed because instead of lessening the power of the government, the party developed a huge bureaucracy, resulting in the strengthening of government, and as a result continuing class divisions. Eliminating class division being the prime goal of Marxism.

The fallicy of holocaust books are only based on jewish testimonies as well as to some germans who might have been threatned into submission after the war.

You can't group a state by it's economic structure alone. You don't see socialist states in Europe with ruthless dictators, because it's democratic socialism. Just like america, while staying capitalist is becoming nationalist, fast.
Generally you classify a state by it's power and economic structure. The only communist states we have had have been totalitarian. Nothing Karl Marx wrote said that a communist state had to support that type of power structure.
