I met Chris Adler back in '10, Summerstorm Fest Bangalore. My first question was, how did you grow that beard. My second question was, do you use triggers by any chance? he replied with a firm 'no'.

He does use triggers, BUT any smart person would know that most every metal drummer now uses them, and that they just give you a good, clean, clear sound. It has nothing to speed. Anyone who says stuff like "omgz lik kris uses trigggerrs so tht maykes him hav no talent becuz trigerss mayke u faster" are idiots, and dont know what they are talking about. Case Closed lol

Chris doesn't use triggers live or in the studio. I met him last year and asked him if he used triggers and he said no because there is already too much that can go wrong with the mics and setup.

@AOXV yea man there just little electric devices connected to like a election sound module from an electric kit. it makes it so you dont have to work as hard and get the same sound. but i saw a couple vids of chris in the studio and i saw his bass drums were just miced. and then i think he exlpained how the room he was in had no reverb and his drum producer dude was awsome lol so yea. i know alot of drummers do just not him

@AOXV Because he has such a beefy bass drum he doesn't need triggers. If you know how to tune your drums right, then you shouldn't need triggers :)

@MRJAWS2795 To be fair, anyone with a 'brain stem' should be able to tell that they both play different styles, and are both incredibly good at what they do. Travis's style isn't metal. You can't exactly compare the two, and any good, rational, honest musician will agree.

@MRJAWS2795 People who say Travis Barker are an "amazing" drummer listen to too much Soulja Boy. He's quick but his playing is very generic in rock environments. I've yet to hear a drummer who plays anything as technical, musical and unique as Chris Adler.

every time i listen to one of these drums only tracks by LOG it just absolutely shocks me. Chris's precision and timing is absolutely flawless. i mean it's almost inhuman for any person to be so dead on accurate every single beat. that's it. Chris Adler is an alien.
