if I could choose between being the way I am now, and being a noob just starting in 1.7.3 like before... I'd choose the second option. Making a giant square cobblestone block with tons of glass cuz I thought it'd look modern. Digging straight down, not realizing the consequences, and it always working out for me. not knowing how to craft a pickaxe.

all those things are now just normal. you do them without thinking.

I loved the times when I could actually have some fun in minecraft...

I remember building my first house, I remeber being a total noob in my single player works and no one gave a shit. I remember burning my house down and taking days to find a new place.

Now I'm the admin of a server thats on the top 100 list ( its a good server btw) and most of my time is spent telling the OPS to stop spawn killing and dealing with griefers. I don't know why but this song gave me this amazing feeling and still dose sometimes.

@jcol99 I have to agree with ya.... I think minecraft lost the... how should i put it... natural feel i guess. I don't like the new biomes, Ravines always get in the way and textures seem really strange with biome transfers. beta 1.8 was my favorite version.

I remember my first save, and I could hit myself in the face for deleting it. I remember my first diamond found.

First time I started minecraft, i was stranded on an island, looking around for something to build shelter with, but had a tree, i did not beleive you could punch down trees at first, and wandered, dug a dirt hovel and sighed, eventually i got angry and began beating my fist agenst the tree befor a piece of lumber fell off, i was dumbfounded by the fact i punched a piece out, much less the fact it DID NOT FALL, from then, i built a kingdom where all fellows of the minecraft world can prosper.

I played Minecraft on December for the first time and there's no words for that feeling but something changed. The whole game is not the same. I dunno, Minecraft is still a fantastic game but now it's too complicated and everything. Minecraft = simplicity for me. Speed run, XP bar, new health-sys, Enderman, etc, these things are cool but unnecessary. And if I hear this song I remember those awesome days in Alpha and I really want it back. Alpha, I f*cking miss you. :(
