This is the reticulated python and the scene is shot in Malaysia by the National Geographic. I still remember in 1995 when a rubber tapper in Segamat, Johor was partially swallowed by a 23 foot python. Was a highlight in the papers and TV at that time too. Kind of scary but that was real!

Any snake, Pythons and Anacondas especially, have the ability to kill humans and digest them. The only limiting factor is the Earth's temperature. The hotter the planet is, the bigger a snake can get. So we should be seeing plenty of giant snakes in the coming years. ^^

I own a Reticulated Python. They are not agressive. They can be if they are not handeled or cared for right. I got mine as a hachling. She is one of my most friendly of my Burmese that I have... Unless she is hungry she will nip at you! So I keep her fed... I love snakes!!!

That is a reticulated python, not an anaconda. I'd be embarrassed if this was my video. Please get it right. Also, the sensationalism of an "anaconda attack" and getting the species wrong only serves to further misinform the public and further spread an irrational fear of snakes.

I own a Reticulated Python. They are not agressive. They can be if they are not handeled or cared for right. I got mine as a hachling. She is one of my most friendly of my Burmese that I have... Unless she is hungry she will nip at you! So I keep her fed... I love snakes!!!

Be careful. You put other people life in danger by owing this thing. What happens when it grows too big. What you throw it out like what people are doing in florida now.
