you're not boring. you're just telling the viewers what you noticed about fedora.. those people who don't think before they post are the ones who are REAL boring. nice work man.
so this is pretty cool, I know that this is were Apple got some of it's ideas for Lion..lets see what else they take from here...I'm not exactly sure how I feel about the multiple work spaces because I don't use them in Lion. but this is no doubt that Linux as always is heading in a great direction
I like work spaces for certain things(for example I used to do work that needed a browser and spread sheet open at the same time) but sometimes I just like running things on a single space. I wish minimize was still in, but I guess I can adjust
@chenxubin I try to be as enthusiastic as I can, I only get better as I make more videos. And I wish I could contribute, but I do not know C, I only know Python so I could not hack gnome shell. I was also considering learning javascript to make some extensions. I only criticize to tell people what it truly is because most users are not that forgiving. I definetly appreciate all the work in it, in fact I'm using it right now.
r u single?

No minimize kind of sucks. Workspaces seems like a lot of clicking around and overhead.

IncrediguyPro 8 months ago
@IncrediguyPro If you go to fallback mode, yes
KingHerring 8 months ago
@KingHerring you mean there is no fedora 15 with the old gnome interace available for download??
IncrediguyPro 8 months ago
@IncrediguyPro yes... it only has gnome 3. there might be an old gnome remix. but otherwise I suggest linux mint 11 until gnome 3 is stable
KingHerring 8 months ago
@KingHerring awww, that sucks.well, I'll just stick with kde.
IncrediguyPro 8 months ago
@IncrediguyPro You can download the KDE version as well. Or the XFCE version, which is basically a stripped version of Gnome

Fedora has never worked for me. I always get a kernel panic. So i just installed Linux mint and used the gnome shell ppa on it.

Its anything but simple to change the font size of the window header. Or to do anything else, really.
