Definitely needs the Whistle Sounds if it doesn't than it is not a Mortar it is a Mortar Wannabe, So yes Bigger Explosion and at least add a Whistle, to alert everybody, even Arty you can hear the thunder, so come on an ADD WHISTLES

The only feedback I have about this weapon is the explosion sounds. I hope you guys change them, they should sound more like Arty in my opinion, not grenades. Add a little "whistle" effect. (just my thoughts though)

the explosive volume of the O822 shells used for this 50mm mortar was the same as F1 nades.

Also, to my knowledge the whistling is a myth. Well, at least for normal shells. Afaik whistling shells had holes in the finns causing the whistling. So unless you can provide sources that it was otherwise, dont bet on any whistling ;)

Well, I wasn't focusing on realism for this point, more for balancing the game out. Mortar's should make people more alert, by alerting them that they are incoming. Just like mentioned above me. I know these games are based on realism, and are as real as they can get without affecting gameplay, but I mean, everyone would enjoy a whistling mortar, especially the person using the mortar launcher.
