I think the way of the future is to create anti matter. Once we can produce a fusion reaction we have endless power to create abundant amount of anti-matter.
Thanx for compliments. Neutrons per second has never exceeded 10*6, unfortunately. I used BubbleTech dosimeters (two on each side of reaction chamber) to confirm neutron production. The plasma containment sphere was made of stainless rod, built using a MIG welder (took some real practice). Vacuum sys and HV pwr supply and vac chamber sourced from eBay!
