Awesome ad :) The part where he says "our generation has known a lifetime of peace, and our purpose is protecting it beyond today" sounds so optimus prime-ish like the ending of transformers. The message they send across is damn strong, damn this has changed my perspective of the Navy so much.
Very nice. Inspiring and moving. This brings honesty back to the fake and make believe world of advertising. I hope this sets a trend. Singaporeans are smart and we don't need to be talked down to. Just tell it like it is. Good job navy.
@iwantgizmos I assume you are not in the service, because if you are you will know this is really what we do. Although it is not a daily thing, the routine is common enough that I believe most people in the Navy have some experience in most of the stuff depicted in the ad.

Sign On! Reputation wise I prefer the RSN to the RSAF. Their commercials look more refreshing on the waters, than in the air.
