I love seeing Matte shadows being used!...they don't get enough love!! lol...I think matte eyeshadows are gorgeous, and you can pull off brighter colors for a daytime look by simply useing a Matte finish! I think Beatuy from the earth has a great Matte selection, I can definitely re create this look with their shadows...great job Marlena!

I like your version so much better. I have that catalog and I hated the look. lol I just didn't like the gross lip color. it's so pale and makes the model look alien-esque. The lashes you chose are more natural looking and the lip color is a lil darker which makes a huge difference. you look so pretty =)

u know when i use any eye shadows.. (the non-shiny or non-glittery ones) they always fall on my under eyes.. but why does that not happen when u apply them with yr brush? shall i keep my eye lid sticky/glossy before applying powder eyes shades.. its so confusing :(

It doesn't matter if you use mat or shiny eye shadow. All you have to do is to tap your brush after picking a color and before putting on your eyelid =)
