To say "ascension" is necessary for everyone is fundamentally sick since it asserts that everyone is at some lower state. @muphart Study quantum physics. There ARE mutliple dimensions (science believes there are 11 & we exist in the third, as in 3-D) and each dimension exists at a different vibration from our own. That is how I thought as well, but then again, we aren't god. We don't have the answers, we aren't mature or advanced enough for that. We are but simple beings he created to his image, yes, we are special, however, we also have to be humble and accept the only thing that matters, we are alive, and he loved us enough to give us life. @stormwings1 Freud's theories are not used by modern day psychologists. It is widely accepted that Freud, by todays standards, is a quack. Jung I know nothing about and will look into. He is credited as being inadvertently responsible for the concept of spirituality as a cure for addiction and inspired programmes like AA, which personally I think is a very flawed concept. I think death is the end, and I believe I'm a better person having come to terms with that. That's a whole other discussion.

Adults tell kids they'll get sick, and that being dirty is bad because it makes a mess. You're adding names to things that need not exist, like dark energy. We don't need dark energy to account for negative feelings, a mean persons has the potential to make someone upset, these are just evolutionary defence mechanisms.

Why would the potential for the greatness of my day be affected by something so trivial clouds in the sky. Comparatively, the earth is very insignificant compared to the universe as a whole, unique so far as we know, but still so so tiny that its destruction would not be noticed by anything alive elsewhere. I depend on the universe as well, without the stars that exploded and black holes and matter there would be no earth

What spectrum are these frequencies on? Light? Sound? I actually like the rain. If I were blind I wouldn't feel anything when someone smiled at me, I would listen to the tone, volume of their voice. By seeing I can perceive body language, that is all smiling and glaring is. If people glare at me I might laugh at how angry they are.

To say "ascension" is necessary for everyone is fundamentally sick since it asserts that everyone is at some lower state. Personally I find it messed up to go around telling people there is something wrong with them, then pretending you are helping them and giving them hope by "explaining" that they will some day be cured of this problem that you invented...no one needs to torture themselves by hoping for ascension. Your body is fully capable of living already, don't diminish that!!

@muphart Study quantum physics. There ARE mutliple dimensions (science believes there are 11 & we exist in the third, as in 3-D) and each dimension exists at a different vibration from our own. They talk about it even on the science channel. Try: "What the Bleep Do We Know" film, for starters. You won't believe how much you do not yet know! Another interesting film is "Something Unknown Is Doing We Don't Know What" and, also, "The Living Matrix". Oh, and "Messages From Water" is interesting.

All we can do is label and define things as we see them and as they can be used to serve us, whether we're scientists or theologians. A dimension is a human invention used for problem solving, not some intrinsic property of the universe (the universe is also a human invention that can never exist outside our minds).

@leovraiel The important difference is that SCIENCE has ways to TEST claims for truth and accuracy. That is not the case with 'Religion/Spirit' where supernatural claims are taken on faith without a way to test whether or not they are true, so doesn't really care whether or not they are true. We are but simple beings he created to his image, yes, we are special, however, we also have to be humble and accept the only thing that matters, we are alive, and he loved us enough to give us life. Think ilke this, you like science fiction, I imagine you like video games, go back to all the video game characters you have liked, and, this is simple, be a kid again, and live by the characters you like. And we chose to take them in as pets, wipe them out, and experimenting on all life. Are we gods then? Do you want to create life? And still love at the same time? @Chirno9Icefall the danger of science and its pure logical stance on life, is that things arent always logical. some elements of life are very abstract, intentionally. to adhere to the other aspect of the brain. the illogical aspect. logic wants everything to fit in equal squares. the competing, opposite (illogical) element distorts the box and runs circles around the square. this is the foundation of art and creativity. science is fine but finite. logic has limits.

If a distorted paradigm convinces itself of a false logic, it still satisfies the logical requirement, yet is still wrong. thats the problem with western science. despite what they believe is "empirical evidence", merely is whats logical at a given time, until something comes along and shatters that logic. which has happened quite often

Yet.. that demonstrates one very important purpose of science. Old models can become obsolete in face of new evidence. Science is a continuous process of discovery, and superstition can halt it

But you would think that due to all the necessary improvement it faced for the years it has been a religion itself, its members would be humble. yet, science appears to still be very arrogant in its method as truth, when it is a version of truth, a perspective of truth. and missing components. the egytians, that mayans, the sumerians, the dogon, etc, mixed science effectively with spirituality.

@Chirno9Icefall and these peoples knowledge of science exceed our modern scienctists'...most of the discoveries are in fact, rediscoveries....I view spirituality as the study and process of realigning with the Creator, which requires the regaining of knowledge of Self. knowldege to me is something we had and now lost, and spirituality should serve as a tool to rediscover ones true identity and alignment with God. religion isnt necessary to me, and isnt the same as spirituality either.

@hoodprophet The scientific community in general rejects metaphysics because there is no clear scientific basis for the idea of 'metaphysics' Just because an idea is alive and well does not mean that it is credible for scientific acceptance.
How is science 'arrogant'? Science makes no claims to absolute certainty nor absolute knowledge. It works by gradual discovery through rigorous observation and testing.

@hoodprophet The important difference between exclusiveness of religion and exclusiveness of science is that exclusiveness of religion is based on man-made doctrine in spite of any objective facts -- in other words, religious exclusiveness based on faith. Scientific exclusiveness is based on empirical testing; excluding ideas that are based on poor evidence are rejected for there is no good reason to accept them.

Science has a process progressive where new theories and hypotheses are made based on tangible, reliable EVIDENCE -- which is NOT religion!

Science rediscovered all the planets and the wonders of astronomy, the cultures I mentioned, were much more advanced in their knowledge of astronomy and cosmology than we are today

WRONG! Science does not assume falsehood because of lack of proof. Rather, the appropriate action is to set aside whatever cannot be proven and not blindly accept anything as true without evidence.
Yes... science has not only discovered the planets, it has found many things about the planets that tne ancients did not know!

The egyptian pyramids were built thousands of years ago and are still in tact. The science it takes to build that structure. Is still imknown by modern scientist. They were also aware of the sirius star system and the fact that their are 3 stars there. Science is arrogantly slow to the punch on much of...well science

It's kind of obvious we are prisoners of war. In the beyond we are spirit, and spirits must have made matter to trap us here. They tell us we have to ascend and grow and I doubt this. This earth is a soul trap. The trick is that you are a body, a great big hungry self, full of desire and need to do something to get out of hunger and pain, that wants to stay here and be functioning here. You can't take a single thing with you, so it's a temporary trap.
