There really isn't a difference at all. It is mostly for the actors sake. It is basically just a dress rehearsal with an audience. It allows the actors to do the show in front of an audience. That way they can get a feel for when the audiences are going to laugh and how the audiences will respond to the show. There is no real difference though.

omg it doesnt feel like THE Dan Radcliffe is right there. There are no screaming fans at all. Just "Congrats" and "well done" uh HELLO ITS DAN RADCLIFFE! I'm not a HUGE fan girl of his. I think he's very down to earth and funny and a great actor but if i was there i would be screaming my head off!!!!

he should get a cooler autograph, his name is too long to actually write it out all the time *lol* i don't feel too sorry for him though, he knew it was going to be like this when he signed the contract. lots of people giving him compliments besides all the stress, it's not that bad.

Oh god poor Daniel, only signing one each knowing ppl wouldnt be happy with that, just pleading with the crowd not to push and just knowing at any moment everything could get out of control. You can hear the stress in his voice too ohh that pressure must be horrible but he copes with it so well and living though it with class and integrity, not turning out like some spoilt, arrogant, smug american former child stars. kudos to him. Not to mention emma and rupert!
