If Miss Korean could speak English. It is still a question of what kind of answers she would produce..... She had a translator and the answers given were not the the same level of Miss Thailand's answers....a below average compared to excellent well thought answers. I think we should look at their achievements 20 years later.. and as I know Miss Thailand kept her words.

la Noruega estaba como en otro planeta qué pereza escucharla., la thailandesa de veras desarrolló una muy buena entrevista y además maneja muy bien el inglés, la venezolana pues mejor le hubiera salido hablar solo en español ya q cuando no se domina bien el idioma y se intenta como sea hablar en inglés las respuestas se ven pobres, además este traductor en particular no les traducía exactamente lo q las chicas decían, Colombia estuvo bien un poco risueña. Korea habló demasiado.

10000 children of malnutrition in Thailand ? Thailand isn't and wasn't a poor country in 1988 . I think the 10000 figure was incorrect ( too big )

When I was young, I remembered that I saw many news and commercials about eating right for children in my country (I'm Thai), especially for those who were lack of protein and iodine. I think the situation was real.

I'm Venezuelan but I agree that Miss Venezuela didn't make an interview but a kinda "learnt-by-heart" speech which didn't go so good as she thought!! What a mess. This was definitively the years of Asian girls!!! Specially, Korea, Thailand and Hong kong...
