V2cigs is the best option for electronic cigarettes. Great service and quality product. Now I have 8 months smoke-free, after 15 years smoking. Try it and improve your life.
Hello. Do flavored liquids with no nicotine will I get lung cancer? I doubt... I was just wondering... thing is I enjoy the flavors running through my throat and nose, but I don't care for nicotine or addictions.
how do you feel about the blu e-cigs? i am currently interested in buying those because they have a nice look and that rechargeable case. I'd like to hear the opinion of an experienced e-smoker like yourself
DUDE THAT BIRD WAS LOUDER THEN YOU ON THE 1ST VIDEO, AND I CAN BEARLY HEAR YOU ON THIS ONE TOO!! ARE YOU STILL SMOKING THEM AND WHICH DO YOU SMOKE THE MOST? I CAN NOT HEAR YOU!! TURN UP YOUR VOLUME OR SPEAK LOUDER!! HAVE U TRIED BLU? GIVE NAME OF COMPANY FOR CIGS! VERSES ##S.!!. WHY DO YOU HAVE 9 LINKS FOR YOUR TOP 5 REVIEWS??
What are your thoughts on e cigarettes containing Propylene Glycol? I've read conflicting information regarding the continual inhalation and its possible effects. I understand its used in things ranging from food and asthma inhalants to jet engine fuel???
Wow Leaford! Look how old this video is and how far you've come. I have always appreciated your reviews and am a veteran on the big forum. Now you are a world traveler and have made a profession from e-cigs. You should be proud! I also enjoyed seeing Mike. I noticed he was quiet. Do you think it was because you let him sit on your shoulder during the review and he felt part of the review?
Damn. wonder how many gay guys worship you for your stache? That is one, HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, 80's Gay Porn Stache Bro. Keep it real, and make them wear condoms dude. Seriously.
Don't buy blu because i ordered it and waited 4-6 weeksand it never came, however i ordered flux e-cig and it came in 4 days and i love it! Also since flux is newer there is not many comments or postings so those of you that do use it i would like to see more posts on the cite! Thank you
I bought a "smoking everywhere" ecig and the atomizer failed in less than a week. The company promptly sent me a replacement and it too failed in a few days. The problem is inherent in a three part system. Cartomizers (atomizer in the filter) are the way to go because each time you replace the filter, you're replacing the atomizer. Why have you not reviewed the "Vapor king"?(a two part system) I've heard they're superior.
Leaford; Love your reviews. However, I disagree with your 'take' on the DSE901's. My hubby and I have been using these since 5/2/09. I see your video is an old one. The early 901's were fabulous. However, now, we've experienced nothing but rapid equipment failure - regardless of the vendor.
My latest purchase, - one battery failed within 2 days, and I fried one atomizer on my passthrough. Previous - failed atom right out of the box. I'm experiencing about a 50% failure rate within 1wk of delvry
Most people have NO IDEA what is actually causing "more vapor". Most batteries only supply 3.7 volts, but a USB passthrough (without an internal battery) gives out 5 to 5.5 volts, a significant boost over batteries and produces 2-3 times more vapor, flavor, throat hit and overall performance! Dump the batteries all together and buy a manual switch passthrough and attach it to a USB power bank with at least a 1 amp output (1000mA). Save yourself the dead battery hassle, expense, under-performance
using a higher voltage source will increase vapor production but there is a downside to it. depending on the model of e cig, it can create a burnt taste and in some cases will prematureley burn out the atomizer. for example, the 801 works great with the higher voltage but the 901 tends to create a burnt taste unless you are constantly dripping. if you are just looking for more vapor, just add a bit more glycerin into your e-juice.
Shekin; Yes, mine jut came in the mail, and I'm using it at the moment. I bought mine to give my 901 batteries a rest. Also as a backup when the batteries are not charged or cr*p out (which the 901's do - OFTEN). Actually, I've had it with the poor quality of the 901's. My next purchae will be an e-pipe - 601. Powerful batteries that last all day I hear. The atomizer also can dtract from the vapor. Also, have had some poor quality liquid that just doesn't vape.
Put a USB manual switch passthrough on that newer DSE901, drip 2 drops right on top of the atomizer, and you'll DUMP your DSE801 for good! The RN-4075's can't handle the power and fry after a week or so, but NOT the original 901's! These things last a VERY long time, pump out MASSIVE CLOUDS of vapor AND liquid flavor! Make you totem and e-pipe look like a smoldering match....!
My first ecig was a platinum 901 and was awsome. Since then it's been down hill. The 901 quality now is so bad, I'm not investing in any more 901 accessories.
you remind me so much of Paul Giamatti with the stash, nice video too, heard about e-cigs awhile ago but just starting to get into to them, i really need to quit
Hey Leaford, have you heard of Blu Cigs? I just bought a starter kit. Check them out and maybe do a review on them. Let us all know what you think about them.
I am a 2 pck a day smoker looking to get one of these to help cut back on the real things. From what I have researched so far I would like one of the minis that are pretty close to the look and size of a real cig, and one I can also drop liquid in. Which do you recommend and where should I order from?
Great Vid! Quick question, Have you ever tried/ heard of " Smoking Everywhere , E-Cigarette"? I'm planning to purchase one soon on amazon, and this one seems to be a great deal. Also, is there an age requirement to purchase these e-cigarettes?
i love ur vids they are vary informative and structured. now i want a new e smoking device for home. something with real good vapour production. i was considering the screwdriver (although i don't like the look of it at all), the janty stick (please review if u can) or the mini pipe. could u help me out with advise...
You're a stupid son of an asshole whore bitch from fucking hell in shit ass. stupid electric pipe smoking ass mother fucker go stick your dick in your pipe cartridge thing
u rule leaford! im finding all your videos helpful but i have a question about the LoongTotem, ive been hearing from some people that the battery dies within 15 days sometimes less, is this evident with your LoongTotem? also they come with atomized cartridges, are these refillable? it would be greatly appreciated if u could help me out on this! keep the vids comin
I'm trying to find all the parts and the atomizer for the first e-cig you described. Can you please send me a message with all the details? Thank you in advance.
RIght now, I have my own website selling mp3 players and such, and I am talking with some of my Chinese friends about getting my hands on some of these badboys at discounted prices ,and models that are unheard of also, so when I get them, let me know and I can hook you up with some of the connects. I seriously, and I mean this bro, I SERIOUSLY Think you should create your own brand and start your own store. I can help you with setting up your website if you want.Let me know!
Great videoes, thanks. I am a pack-a-day smoker, and I am thinking of trying one of these. Can you post a link on where to order the best brand? Did you quit smoking with these, or do you still smoke regular ciggarettes?
Anyone else find the Litecigusa website impossible to navigate? There is a picture of the pipe but I can't find the price of it or order it. The M401 also seems out of stock.
i want to start smoking e-cigs and want your advice on the absolutly best e-cig out there. dont care about the price. i want the best real looking cigarette that works best and want to know if you could use the liquide bottles on any e-cigs. thanx. Dan
Do you know about any toxicity in vaporizing the smoke juice? It seems that little is known about heating & inhaling propylene glycol or acetyl pyrazine. Have you heard of any solid test results? The FDA seems to be threatening the industry concerning any health risks. Have you ever experienced an acid reflux type feeling in your throat or anything else?
Dripping, or drip smoking, or dry smoking, refers to dripping e-liquid sirectly onto the atomizer instead of using a cartridge. Some people prefer it, and you can usually get a bigger hit of vapor that way.
hey leaford, i know im under aged and all but still im just trying to help out, for your third favorite with the batery that must be recharged from a usb or computer, try plugging it into an iphone or ipod wall charger, this allows you to connect to a wall with the apple device and plug in the usb drive for the e-cig, so then you should be able to charge on the go, leave me a message if it works out.
i will be 18 in a couple months and dont want to start smoking, any tips for the best e-cig?
If you aren't already smoking, there's no reason to start e-smoking. Nicotine is a bad addiction. I think that even with e-smoking, most smokers would wish they had never started to begin with. So, just don't start.
Hey Leaford, i have been waiting for a new post from you, On your recommendation i bought a Njoy Npro but i think its faulty as it didnt live up to your trusted review. i noticed the Npro isn't mentioned in this video. Please could you recommend for me a reliable e-cig? hopefully one that only requires 1 battery & cartridge change per day? i would really apprechiate your help. by the way im in the UK/Europe
I never reviewed the Npro, just the Njoy penstyle.
But, nothing wil last a pack a day smoker all day. An e-pipe comes the closest. The disposables, like Smoke 51, are equal to a pack per cartridge (unless the cartridge is defective, as some are), but you'll need at lest two batteries per cartridge.
What someone needs to do is make a large battery body for the disposable atomizer/cartridges, preferably with a manual switch. That would be a winner in my eyes.
Right now, yes. Soon, ePuffer will be upgrading their cartridges to a new design which is supposed to last longer, be easier to refill, and not give you a bad taste at the end of the cartridge anymore.
Once I receive them and test them out, I'll let you all know.
But for now I suggest batteries from ePuffer and cartridges from Smoke 51.
Or if you really don't want to mix-n-match, just get the whole kit from Smoke 51. The batteries are poor, but not horrible or unuseable, after all. ;-)
you're a cool dude Leaford , thanks for all your reviews. They really helped me out. Question: i got the smoke51 , and i'm wondering what other cartridges and atomizers i can mix and match with it... as to avoid constantly buying new smoke51 cartridges THANKS!
I've just discovered this whole e-cigarette thing and I've been seriously thinking about giving it a try. I see you recommend the DSE901 for beginners and I was shocked to see how inexpensive it was compared to other e-cigarettes I've been looking at. Wasting money is my biggest concern. You say it lasts 2 weeks to 2 months. What do you mean by that? The batteries? The atomizer? So it's possible after two weeks I'd have to buy a replacement? Or just replacement parts? Forgive my ignorance.
The atomizers and bateries both degrade over time and with use. Atomizers amy last 2 weeks of heavy use, or 2 months of light use. Maybe a bit longer in either case, but not for a whole year. Batteries usually last 2 to 3 months, again depending on use.
Cleaning atomizers regularly does extend their lifespans, and often you can resurrect a dead atomizer that way. But eventually they do all die. 2 weeks is a worst case scenario, with heavy use, etc. With more moderate use and occasional cleanings, a month or more is more realistic. But none of them last forever.
And batteries just wear out, no way to extend them, except to get a few extras so each one gets less use.
In all honesty, which is the best all around heavy hitting e-cig? This based on quality, heaviness of vapor, availability of parts etc. I've read people move from one E Cig to the next, but honestly just want to buy a good heavy vapor type off the bat without going through trial and error. Basically if you were stuck in an airport for six weeks which one would you want to have with you?
Hey, everyone! For the full written version of this, review, and a longer version of this video, be sure to check out my new blog, e-smoker-forever, and feel free to leave a comment or PM me here or on a forum. I am getting discount codes for as many of my reviewed device as possible, so if you don't see one, check with me before purchasing.
I have found your posts to be very helpful on deciding which e-cigs to try. Have you tried any different brands of smoke juice other than the Johnson's Creek? If so which ones would you recommend?
Thank you very much for the vids, they're informative and thorough. From your reviews it looked like the loong totem would be the best fit for me too, so I went ahead and ordered the magnum from epuffer. Now if the thing would just get here already, I can't wait to try it! I don't know where in the States you are from, but how fast do you usually receive orders from epuffer? Again, thanks for the great reviews!
About five to seven days I'm afraid. It has to go through customs, be transfered to USPS, and so on.
Let me know how your cartridges are, they've supposedly upgraded to a higher quality cartridge, but I haven't had the opportunity to try them yet to verify that.
Also, if you don't mind, please PM me when you re-order new cartridges. I just signed up for an affiliate account with them, and I am negotiating with them right now to try to get a discount code for everyone who uses it.
Just wanted to fill you in on the cartridges I received from epuffer.
The 2 tobacco carts were very nice; good flavor and they lasted for around 150-175 drags.
Of the 10 marlboro carts I got, 8 of them lasted 30-40 drags, and the other 2 were dry right out of the box. Not a one of them was any good.
I've got some smoke51 carts now, they taste pretty good and are lasting for about 150-175 drags. I've had no trouble refilling either with homemade liquid.
I haven't tried that particular one, so all I can say is that it's a 901, which is a good e-cig, especially for beginners. But remember I said that the ones I was getting way back when were better than newer ones? I found out on the forum the older ones were actually RN-901s and the newer ones are DSE-901s. Same design, but different manufacturers. Only the code on the connector end of the battery will show which it is. I can't tell from a pic. So it may be merely good, or it may be great.
yes the one i purchased is a DSE-901s........there supposed to be refillable up to two times on each cartridge any recommendations on liquid i ordered some from epuff but also heard pillbox 38 is good....thanks for all the info soon to be quitting smoking the tobacco and replacing with the ecigg so a good quality is important plus i think i would like a lot of vapor too makes it feel more real sort of speak....
This hasnt quite earned the reputation for reliability that the DSE901 has yet, but it is a good contender to be the 901 killer. It outperforms the current crop of 901s in vapor production, and has similar battery and cartridge life. It is available from Litecig, and from at least one Chinese seller.
Why I Love Them: Cheap, small and light, excellent penstyle-like vapor.
The Downside: Shorter cartridge and battery life than a penstyle. A bit harder to drip or refill than the 901.
More of an honorable mention than a favorite since I seldom use it anymore. This is the best e-cig for a beginner, IMO. Its widely available, but LitecigUSA(and Litecig), E-Smokeytreats, and ecigarettemall(and ecigmall) offer warranties.
Why I Love Them: It gives you a good introduction to the basic techniques of e-smoking, is cheap and reliable, and produces a satisfying amount of vapor. Easy to refill or drip.
The Downside: Shorter cartridge and battery life than a penstyle.
These are penstyles that I rate at a perfect 5 out of 5 for vapor and ease of draw. Sedansa Diva, Janty Classic, and the DSE801 from ecigarettemall(or ecigmall) all perform at that level. I pair them with a USB manual switch battery from the Janty KISSbox at home, and outside I use the Sedansa Divas extra long life batteries.
Why I Love Them: Outstanding vapor, USB power source convenience, longer lasting batteries than most penstyles.
These are available from Litecig, LitecigUSA, and ecigarettemall. All three offer warranties.
Why I Love Them: Long lasting cartridges and batteries. About a pack to a pack and a half worth per cartridge, and a battery that lasts up to a whole day.
The Downside: Non-removable atomizer, so if it fails you have to replace the whole body. Big, bulky to carry.
These are the disposable atomizer/cartridge combination devices. They are available from Smoke51, ePuffer (as the EAZE Magnum), and from e-Cig (as the New Mini-Ecig).
Why I Love Them- Vapor, tons and tons of vapor. And the long cartridge life, easily equivalent to a pack.
The Downside- Most of the batteries are poor, many cartridges fail, or dont last as long as they should, and all of it is expensive.
Love your honest review style.... and your moustache is awesome

I just bought 2 of the epuffer Eaze Magnum. Thanks for your info, I hope I like them :)

and Mike rocks too.
Anyone else find the Litecigusa website impossible to navigate? There is a picture of the pipe but I can't find the price of it or order it. The M401 also seems out of stock.

i want to start smoking e-cigs and want your advice on the absolutly best e-cig out there. dont care about the price. i want the best real looking cigarette that works best and want to know if you could use the liquide bottles on any e-cigs. thanx. Dan
danimalizim 3 years ago
What about the Dura?
lucisac 3 years ago
Thanx for V9 reviews & top rank.
E-cigs could get shut down without proper tests!
Thanx again,
Keep up the great work,
Cheers - Splizle

what is dripping at around 7 minutes 40 seconds???
mylockpickingaccount 3 years ago
Dripping, or drip smoking, or dry smoking, refers to dripping e-liquid sirectly onto the atomizer instead of using a cartridge. Some people prefer it, and you can usually get a bigger hit of vapor that way.
But again, my advice to you is, don't start.

hey leaford, i know im under aged and all but still im just trying to help out, for your third favorite with the batery that must be recharged from a usb or computer, try plugging it into an iphone or ipod wall charger, this allows you to connect to a wall with the apple device and plug in the usb drive for the e-cig, so then you should be able to charge on the go, leave me a message if it works out.
i will be 18 in a couple months and dont want to start smoking, any tips for the best e-cig?
mylockpickingaccount 3 years ago
If you aren't already smoking, there's no reason to start e-smoking. Nicotine is a bad addiction. I think that even with e-smoking, most smokers would wish they had never started to begin with. So, just don't start.

Great video Leaford. Love it. What brand of camera do you use?

Hey Leaford, i have been waiting for a new post from you, On your recommendation i bought a Njoy Npro but i think its faulty as it didnt live up to your trusted review. i noticed the Npro isn't mentioned in this video. Please could you recommend for me a reliable e-cig? hopefully one that only requires 1 battery & cartridge change per day? i would really apprechiate your help. by the way im in the UK/Europe
many thanks Leaford
LiDiMjsPyt 3 years ago
I never reviewed the Npro, just the Njoy penstyle.
But, nothing wil last a pack a day smoker all day. An e-pipe comes the closest. The disposables, like Smoke 51, are equal to a pack per cartridge (unless the cartridge is defective, as some are), but you'll need at lest two batteries per cartridge.
What someone needs to do is make a large battery body for the disposable atomizer/cartridges, preferably with a manual switch. That would be a winner in my eyes.

Thank you for the great reviews. I just recently ran into this concept about about a week ago and would like to try it it out.
For a complete beginner like me, is there one retailer's starter kit you'd recommend over any other?
OR...
Is it better to buy the EAZE Magnum battery with a charger and the e-cig cartridges separately?
Thanks again.
ollitsacm 3 years ago
Right now, yes. Soon, ePuffer will be upgrading their cartridges to a new design which is supposed to last longer, be easier to refill, and not give you a bad taste at the end of the cartridge anymore.
Once I receive them and test them out, I'll let you all know.
But for now I suggest batteries from ePuffer and cartridges from Smoke 51.
Or if you really don't want to mix-n-match, just get the whole kit from Smoke 51. The batteries are poor, but not horrible or unuseable, after all. ;-)
dhenschel05 3 years ago
Right on. Thanks again.
ollitsacm 3 years ago
you're a cool dude Leaford , thanks for all your reviews. They really helped me out. Question: i got the smoke51 , and i'm wondering what other cartridges and atomizers i can mix and match with it... as to avoid constantly buying new smoke51 cartridges THANKS!

Oh sorry, also, does the vapor have any odor?
n00ne 3 years ago
It will have a light fragrance of whatever flavor it is. The PG itslef has a lightly sweet odor.

Forgive my ignorance.
n00ne 3 years ago
The atomizers and bateries both degrade over time and with use. Atomizers amy last 2 weeks of heavy use, or 2 months of light use. Maybe a bit longer in either case, but not for a whole year. Batteries usually last 2 to 3 months, again depending on use.
dhenschel05 3 years ago
When you say last 2 weeks meaning they never work again? Or they have to be cleaned out good? Same for the batteries too.
FuckFuck80200 3 years ago
Cleaning atomizers regularly does extend their lifespans, and often you can resurrect a dead atomizer that way. But eventually they do all die. 2 weeks is a worst case scenario, with heavy use, etc. With more moderate use and occasional cleanings, a month or more is more realistic. But none of them last forever.
And batteries just wear out, no way to extend them, except to get a few extras so each one gets less use.
dhenschel05 3 years ago

Do you mean the cartridges for the Loong Totem v9? If so, hook a dude up! ;-)
dhenschel05 3 years ago
I have found your posts to be very helpful on deciding which e-cigs to try. Have you tried any different brands of smoke juice other than the Johnson's Creek? If so which ones would you recommend?
msskellington2u 3 years ago
Thank you very much for the vids, they're informative and thorough. From your reviews it looked like the loong totem would be the best fit for me too, so I went ahead and ordered the magnum from epuffer. Now if the thing would just get here already, I can't wait to try it! I don't know where in the States you are from, but how fast do you usually receive orders from epuffer? Again, thanks for the great reviews!
udave 3 years ago
About five to seven days I'm afraid. It has to go through customs, be transfered to USPS, and so on.
Let me know how your cartridges are, they've supposedly upgraded to a higher quality cartridge, but I haven't had the opportunity to try them yet to verify that.
Also, if you don't mind, please PM me when you re-order new cartridges. I just signed up for an affiliate account with them, and I am negotiating with them right now to try to get a discount code for everyone who uses it.
dhenschel05 3 years ago
Just wanted to fill you in on the cartridges I received from epuffer.
The 2 tobacco carts were very nice; good flavor and they lasted for around 150-175 drags.
Of the 10 marlboro carts I got, 8 of them lasted 30-40 drags, and the other 2 were dry right out of the box. Not a one of them was any good.
I've got some smoke51 carts now, they taste pretty good and are lasting for about 150-175 drags. I've had no trouble refilling either with homemade liquid.
udave 3 years ago
Sounds like the same bad ones I received. Sorry to hear that.

i just ordered the ePuffer Elite MINI Electronic Cigarette any thoughts on this one?
Great Reviews!
wnikeair26 3 years ago
I haven't tried that particular one, so all I can say is that it's a 901, which is a good e-cig, especially for beginners. But remember I said that the ones I was getting way back when were better than newer ones? I found out on the forum the older ones were actually RN-901s and the newer ones are DSE-901s. Same design, but different manufacturers. Only the code on the connector end of the battery will show which it is. I can't tell from a pic. So it may be merely good, or it may be great.
dhenschel05 3 years ago
yes the one i purchased is a DSE-901s........there supposed to be refillable up to two times on each cartridge any recommendations on liquid i ordered some from epuff but also heard pillbox 38 is good....thanks for all the info soon to be quitting smoking the tobacco and replacing with the ecigg so a good quality is important plus i think i would like a lot of vapor too makes it feel more real sort of speak....

#5) M401:
This hasnt quite earned the reputation for reliability that the DSE901 has yet, but it is a good contender to be the 901 killer. It outperforms the current crop of 901s in vapor production, and has similar battery and cartridge life. It is available from Litecig, and from at least one Chinese seller.
Why I Love Them: Cheap, small and light, excellent penstyle-like vapor.
The Downside: Shorter cartridge and battery life than a penstyle. A bit harder to drip or refill than the 901.
dhenschel05 3 years ago
#4) DSE-901:
More of an honorable mention than a favorite since I seldom use it anymore. This is the best e-cig for a beginner, IMO. Its widely available, but LitecigUSA(and Litecig), E-Smokeytreats, and ecigarettemall(and ecigmall) offer warranties.
Why I Love Them: It gives you a good introduction to the basic techniques of e-smoking, is cheap and reliable, and produces a satisfying amount of vapor. Easy to refill or drip.
The Downside: Shorter cartridge and battery life than a penstyle.
dhenschel05 3 years ago
#3) Perfect 5 Penstyles:
These are penstyles that I rate at a perfect 5 out of 5 for vapor and ease of draw. Sedansa Diva, Janty Classic, and the DSE801 from ecigarettemall(or ecigmall) all perform at that level. I pair them with a USB manual switch battery from the Janty KISSbox at home, and outside I use the Sedansa Divas extra long life batteries.
Why I Love Them: Outstanding vapor, USB power source convenience, longer lasting batteries than most penstyles.
The Downside: none really.
dhenschel05 3 years ago
#2) DSE-601 E-Pipe:
These are available from Litecig, LitecigUSA, and ecigarettemall. All three offer warranties.
Why I Love Them: Long lasting cartridges and batteries. About a pack to a pack and a half worth per cartridge, and a battery that lasts up to a whole day.
The Downside: Non-removable atomizer, so if it fails you have to replace the whole body. Big, bulky to carry.
dhenschel05 3 years ago
#1) LoongTotem v9 and/or compatable:
These are the disposable atomizer/cartridge combination devices. They are available from Smoke51, ePuffer (as the EAZE Magnum), and from e-Cig (as the New Mini-Ecig).
Why I Love Them- Vapor, tons and tons of vapor. And the long cartridge life, easily equivalent to a pack.
The Downside- Most of the batteries are poor, many cartridges fail, or dont last as long as they should, and all of it is expensive.
