Here is a fun fact. In past protests like apec here in Canada, protest groups were infiltrated by undercover RCMP officers who dressed all in black with their faces covered. They brought bricks in napsacks and had pushed to the front of the police line, trying to incite a police response. Protest leaders exposed them and it was reported that they were in fact rcmp officers. The game is to make protesters look bad through nasty media images of violence and then "understandable" police response.

umm, the Canadian government did something, (mostly spent 6 billion dollars in tax payers money on a party for tourists which they now admit isn't going to make them that money back) protesters drew attention to it, and therefor Canada looks bad... and you blame the protesters for making canada look bad? would you prefer that no one notices when a government screws taxpayers over?

how the fuck does it look bad to stand up for your rights in a free land and protest? and just because someone is on the street protesting (informing the ignorant masses) why does that mean they are not also donating money and trying to change injustices. protesting is a last resort to help inform ignorant people like yourself and change injustices in the system. and the cops are assholes causing more trouble than they help in many situations by the way. being nazi scumbags protecting the unjust

@RackAttack1080 The reason we hate the olympics so much is we're paying for the huge cost with our own taxes. Taxes that could be used for helping the homeless. A lot of people don't have time to help the homeless because their busy working trying to pay off the taxes for the olympics. Not to mention, feeding clothing, and sheltering themselves. You think protesting is retarded? How about paying billions of dollars for a two week party for rich people and athletes. Tell me that isn't retarded.

I hardly think that people who want to have fun at the olympics are fascists. However, people who want to shout down critical debate about the issues of Olympic costs and government priorties sure look like fascists in training, whether they know it or not.
